I think this is just something our support will need to get used to. This is our model now going forward, it’s also the way we’ll be able to attract potentially top players - we’re not their final destination, only a stepping stone on the way up. Accept it, enjoy it while they’re here and don’t get bitter when they move up - it’s how we’ll be able to continue to compete at a good level in the PL.

The club may pay a heavy price for fucking over its core support as the economic gloom escalates. Many are going to need to prioritise where their money goes with fuel, energy, food, goods, etc. costs going through the roof. They're making it too easy for long-term regular fans from a certain background to walk away and get out of the habit. I'm concerned they're going to fuck this up big time with these crazy, blinkered policies.

We took 10,000 up there for the quarter final on the Sunday, 0-0, replay at the Dell but can’t remember them having particularly that many. Feisty night all the same, some shenanigans around the Lord Louis, mullered ‘em, 5-1.

As Saint Garrett mentioned that Adams hasn't trained much this week, he'll probably be benched. And I know some will say crazy to take our best central player out of the midfield but I would think the circumstances would justify JWP switching to RB and KWP to LB if we want to go with a 4. Diallo is best in JWP's position and performed best in that role so could be our most reliable 4 across the back if we go with that.

The only thing I can think is they needed to sell before splashing out on a competent striker hoping that shipping Bednarek, Stephens or whoever would bring in the funds, but there's no takers so it's now fingers crossed with the club that Che will attract a reasonable fee. If they let him go without at least one other coming in then it looks a recipe for disaster. But probably best to wait until the window slams shut....
