Great work Saints, who the f**k is laughing now? :) :)
-
Personally, I think they're f###ed, admin or not.
-
Because they're a bunch of fish-fiddling inbreds?

Totally bossed it today. I was most impressed by our players' ability to control the ball...very few balls bounced off players and out today. We also had loads of great balls going into the box today, much like at the start of the season. Rickie Lambert was MOTM for me...an absolutely brilliant performance...he was all over the place and put in some great balls. Adam Lallana was also very, very good, but that's a touch harsh on the rest of the team who all played really well.

I visited the ground on Thursday evening, while it was snowing. There were covers on the pitch (other than the bit being warmed by the slow moving grass growing device thingy, as seen on Saintsplayer). The guide was asked whether we had undersoil heating and he said yes, which I certainly didn't know about

W00t we've finally reached the first megabyte of pages! Can I pop the Warburton's in the toaster yet please?
-
Indeed. Although I didn't spot anything relating to a monkfish petting zoo...

Just as a reminder, the last time our slippery fisherman's friends down the road were issued with a WUP, they still managed a "takeover" before the hearing. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/03/balram-chainrai-portsmouth-owner Without meaning to sound negative, they've been here before and got away with it. Let's see if the courts are as lenient this time around.

Me too, this is the skates we're talking about, hardly shocking is it?

The Telegraph article is still there, just click on Sport->Football and it's down the right hand side next to the table. URL doesn't seem to paste properly. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/portsmouth/9021385/Joseph-Cala-the-Man-from-Atlantis-confident-of-Portsmouth-deal.html

This latest twist reminds me of the Simpsons version of Under the Sea! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OosYFs3cyZ8

Would you mind visiting a little more often? Much obliged

Nice one

What that made me LOL!

It was pretty poor all round, but it meant I could watch it at home, so not the end of the world. Even if some of the in-game commentary was very pro-skate as well...at one point I heard something along the lines of "We're just starting to push forward a bit more now..."

I'll take a point, but I'm starting to worry a little about the number of goals we are scoring, given the amount of possession and chances we create. We had 9 shots on target according to the BBC, but I don't remember any of them troubling their keeper other than the goal! That said, we looked solid and played some nice passing football in difficult conditions. Guly for me played as per the last game i.e. got into some good positions but suffered from poor control (especially first touch). Lambert looked brilliant however, and I strongly suspect we missed him more than we realised recently. Adam looked well up for it and embarrassed them at times. Overall, a much better performance than the last couple of trips away, but we clearly need someone else to feed off of Lambert's nod downs and sliding passes. We really are much better than a lot of teams in this league, but we need to sort the final third out and get the goals, and points, that we deserve.

I still have the bruises

Saints V Blackpool Match Thread and Reaction
Shrek replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
We need to improve our finishing pretty sharpish imo. We really should have scored 5 today. -
They are warm and well, they are light.
-
There's no easy games in this league. We'll just take it one game at a time and keep chipping away

South Today also now reporting that a 36 year old man has been arrested in London under a European arrest warrant. The line after the news story was very funny, for those who saw it
