I did the St Marys tour recently and spoke to a few members of staff, including one of the security staff. I asked him a few basic questions and he couldn't/wouldn't answer any of them. He was adament that Nicola runs a VERY tight ship, information wise, and staff aren't told anything they don't need to know. So frankly, I don't believe this rumour, much like all the other rumours just recently that have turned out to be nonsense.

They came with a plan and it worked. Ref was terrible and one of the linos was even worse, just to add to the frustration! Lambert was climbed all over for the entire game. County doubled up on Oxo and without Lallana we didn't have the creativity down the other wing. Nevermind, onward and upwards!

Frustrating game to watch, but after Dickson and Holmes came on we looked a different side. We had width and even a touch of pace! The players are clearly lacking confidence, but the last 20 mins they seemed to get better and better. FWIW, the referee and linos were absolutely appalling today and I can count on two hands (easily) the number of obvious handballs they missed, including two good shouts and one stone wall in the box. A definite improvement today and I like Adkins' style. Just need a goal now...PLEASE!

Scunny chairman seems to be playing games here...why did they release the statement saying that Adkins had agreed terms this morning if the clubs hadn't agreed terms? Surely the chariman would have known about the compensation issue then if, as is inferred in the sky article, Adkins had been asked to resign yesterday? Lots of Cortese bashing going on here, but TBF he hasn't released any information to the press at all about a decision so it's not like he's doing a public u-turn!

I'm sure we won't know anything about an appointment until Cortese releases a statement, relax!

With the money spent so far, top 5 by mid-season would absolutely not have been good enough for NC. The investment was made to win the league and swiftly advance to the Premier League. Bumbling around the top 5 would not have been in the plan, not in the 2nd season of AP anyway.

Ok, a different perspective. Nicola wants us to walk the league. With the money spent so far, we should. Would Man U fans be happy with our points tally at this stage of the season? With Marcus' passing, Nicola is going to be even more fired up and will demand nothing less than the best. Performances prior to Bristol Rovers were poor and we did not look like a team about to walk the league. I really liked AP, seemed a genuine guy. But we seemed to be stumbling towards a "pretty good" season again, much like the Burley season when we just missed out. Not good enough. I would suspect the decision was made before the Rovers game, hence the reactions. If we'd have played like we did against Orient then perhaps there might have been some different reactions Good luck Alan, you're a decent bloke. Well there weren't many seats left in the Kingsland yesterday when I purchased for someone else. The lady on the phone said tickets were "selling very well as it was Leyton Orient" and that they saw something similar for the away game last season.

Marcus, you brought smiles back to the faces of thousands of Saints fans around the world, and hopefully the club brought many smiles of your own. You were a great man and had the respect of so many people, hence the outpouring of emotion here by so many including myself...I was as shocked as everyone else to have heard the tragic news. Rest in peace now, but know that you will never be forgotten by those associated with this great club, be it fans, staff, players or even casual observers. God bless.

Sending abroad is no problem. Just make sure the item is sent "signed for" and with appropriate loss / damage cover if it's valuable. If not, don't worry about getting it signed for, get proof of postage and the item is covered up to £41.00. If the parcel gets lost, Royal Mail will instigate an investigation and pay up (minus the postal cost, as they will claim it's another courier that lost it!).

The ruling yesterday has given every single club the green light to totally take the ****** now, and this is the least I expect from teh skates. The next few weeks are critical for the Football League...will they show some balls or roll over? I suspect they may show some balls, but the skates are clearly going to carry on trying to take the ******...why wouldn't they?
