There's already some "Save our Saints" offers going on in the Megastore, with signed footballs and shirts etc. up for grabs. We've already sold over 20,000 tickets for Saturday's match, with most of the Itchen already sold out, and decent seats hard to come by elsewhere. Come on, let's sell this game out!

Just got back, the two new guys were pretty good, especially the Dutch fella, although he did make one shocking error in the first half However, overall we were pretty poor and saved by an incredible Kelvin Davis performance - he pulled off 4 or 5 amazing saves!! After the last one, I just knew we were going to pull off a smash and grab, and we did! Well done to the 521 nutters up there, it was freezing but there was an incredible rendition of Woolston Ferry nonetheless!!! Right, I'm off to defrost!

Fair enough if that's the case re: the sub. Any tactical orders given out didn't seem to help though did they? I'm afraid I don't hold Jan very highly at this point in time...he doesn't seem able to make impact changes and his unwillingness to change formations has led to some depressingly predictable finales. Ah well, a draw is a point in the right direction, and at least we had some shots today!!

I don't mean we necessarily should have changed to a 4-4-2, but Cov were suddenly all over us and Jan didn't react. Sounded like Thompson had a good game though, good on him. What was the point in bringing BWP on for the last 40 seconds?

Why won't Portaloo change his frigging tactics?! Does he have no others?? All it took was a change to 4-4-2, no response from Jan and Coventry were in. Grrr grumble grumble. At least we scored though.
