I don't need to watch the BBC coverage to judge the atmosphere, TV is always a poor way to judge for various reasons. It had a couple of quiet periods, the ten minutes or so before the first goal when we couldn't get out and for 5-10 minutes after they scored but you'll always get lulls. In the main it was excellent for most of the game though. There absolutely was not 'long periods of silence'.
