I would imagine it does not cost that much to maintain the facilities there. At least no difference to renting. So why get rid of perfectly good facilities when you have them? It's not like we are suggesting building new ones from scratch which would cost the club millions!

Ok to give a reference to Ebbsfleet, the club is run by a chairman and a CEO. They were appointed by 'the operator' which is the team that set up MyFC. The society (members) elect a board that represent them. In effect the club is run like any other club except rather than an individual calling the shots it is 15,000. So the CEO and chairman run the club for the owners who decide how the club is run.

Wise hasn't done the business without Poyet. Gus was the brains in the partnership.
