Jones really won't help himself if he doesn't field some of the new attacking signings from the start in this one, like most I don't understand why he didn't start them yesterday ( che's fault for scoring at Newcastle is the only reason I can see ) but it does seem to be the way with manager's.. How the fuck after 2 PL games can any of this be Jones fault, the players signed and contract extensions by previous management and current and previous owners have been poor as fuck, Jones biggest mistake was saying yes to the job offer in the first place . Good managers find good goalscorers (even with a budget) and good managers also find systems and players to assist them score goals, eg Pelle, Lambert and Tadic, Mane etc. We all know that if we find a 15 /20 goal a season striker we only get there services for a couple of seasons before they move on but that's what keeps us in the league and then we reset. The issue is I have zero faith Ralph and Co can find that player... And before anybody says what about Ings, he was always a good striker at a top club, just a gamble that paid off given his injury record and moved on as soon as he could to a another bang average side, says alot.

If we can put 90 mins together then we are capable of giving most including Arsenal a game, the issue we haven't done that for what seems like ages . Hopefully off the back of a win, the players will gain in confidence and this will counter act the coaches wisdom. If we don't concede early, iam optimistic for a draw..
