I used to play Rugby for a club in Osterley that backed on to the Sky Sports studios and she. along with some of the other pundits, used to come into the club once in a while after broadcasting had finished on a Saturday evening....was a very appealing sight for beered-up rugby players, and certainly easier on the eye than Rodney Marsh....

None whatsoever as far as I can see....the PL has, realistically 2-3 possible winners....the rest of us scrap around for best placings to ensure bigger slices of Sky TV's money and maybe a bit of a cup run....such is life

Olsson had him in his pocket on Saturday until he started dropping deeper to lay the ball off, by which point we had no target man....I hope there is much more to come from Pelle as he gets used to the pace and style of the EPL...it's far too early at this stage to write him off...

Players don't play full games in preseason as they aren't fully match fit...as anyone with any nous in Sport Physiology will tell you, you only get fit to play 90 minutes by playing 90 minutes or your body doesn't adapt to the overload.....yes, you run the risk of injury, that's the trade-off...

This....and it really is this simple....despite what has happened, the club still retain the final word on whether players get sold or not....

The only thing tempering my enjoyment of Liverhampton being torn a new one is the worry of what City might do to us based on this form.....

At the end of the day, it's 22 blokes being paid obscene amounts for kicking an inflated piece of plastic around....you want real life, open the paper and you might see something of genuine importance....if anything, sport matters to many as an escape from 'real life', and as such, needs a bit of perspective.....
