He put his money where his mouth was last night. Great to see a player running at the opposition, buying free kicks where nothing else is on, fraustrating his markers to the point they daren’t touch him, and he took his chance phenomenally when it came. We’ve been crying out for this sort iof quality in a player and I hope he keeps it up and stays a while. He is probably the only player in our squad that could compete in the PL, and this is the level of player we should be aiming for to demolish the Championship next year and give us a decent footing for when we get promoted in 2027.

I think you may be too late. THB passes like someone’s stuck pins in his eyes and Manning defends like he’s got two broken legs..

I think he said player availability was more or less the same as Preston - unless i’ve missed something. I agree with changes required and hopefully we’ll get to see some.

I’ve written it off and I am an idiot. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be preparing for next season with a bit of forethought. If we can’t get a decent manager right now, or players that we need in January, get in capable temporary replacements who are currently out of work on short term contracts. This would give us time to source the staff and players we really need to mount a charge for the PL next season with a new manager and players, some of whom, may be capable of holding their own in the top flight.. unlike the current squad and coaching staff.

As the old saying goes.. Buy cheap, buy twice.. or thrice.. or four times.. or five………..

Rose tinted glasses much? We’ve sacked 5 managers in 12 months. Our owners are clueless. We don’t have a striker or anyone that can score goals. Two awful keepers. Most of our players are overrated (only by our fan base though). We were just relegated as pretty much the worst team in Premier League history. We are a shambles.

We’re a basket case of a club now, there’s no denying it. No-one but a total nutcase would take this job now. I’d rather it be a looney with Championship experience than the latest German Subbuteo champion.

Because as well as a manager, we need a goalscorer, and that can’t really happen til January at the earliest. This season is shot.

Slaven Bilic is doing nothing. He’s a phycho and knows the league. Get him in until the end of the season to shake up our soft shower of shite while we tap up someone decent for next season. ABM ..Anyone but Martin
