  1. I also believe that Pochettino was slightly acidic to the players about the board and planted many seeds of doubt into their minds. I've never seen so many players come out and question a board or their paymasters. And of course you have Cortese to thank for that. I'd still rather have the imp back though.
  2. Boruc is a liability, should've got Fabianski whilst we had the chance....maybe Vorm instead? Would rather keep Morgan than Victor too. We still have a very good team provided some players stay: Boruc Clyne-Lovren-fonte-chambers Davis-Cork-Wanyama-JWP JRod-Gallagher 2-3 quality additions with £50m (potentially) to spend will still see us finish mid-table although I expect to see further departures at some stage over the next year of; Lovren-chambers-Morgan-victor-Ramirez-JRod-Osvaldo. Which would yield another £60-100m, hoping that 2/3'rds will be given to the new manager to fully rebuild and reshape our team over the next two years. Here's hoping that we already have enough quality in the squad to cement our BPL place for the next 3 years without it affecting our relegation chances.
  3. This was awhile ago tbf, but with Baines admitting that he's always been homesick and doesn't travel very well, could it lead the way for Shaw to start in Brazil? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/england/7768829/England-World-Cup-squad-Leighton-Baines-set-to-be-replaced-by-Stephen-Warnock.html Clearly you'd think he'd have grown a pair by now but I never realised he was such a sissy.
  4. Wasn't there a cocaine story recently about a high profile club and two of its employees?
  5. A direct quote from Simon Peach? This bit raised an eyebrow " However, Peach continued: "I don’t think Lallana going means that Pochettino will go as well. I think it’s more likely that if Pochettino stays then Luke Shaw will stay. But regardless if Pochettino stays, Adam Lallana will leave." 6. This is not saints related….just like it wasn't when Pepe Mel was sacked yesterday. Move on.
  7. My lack of a voice today would allude otherwise!
  8. This is not saints related. ;-)
  9. My thoughts exactly.
  10. I am cheap, especially as they're at the back of the Northam. Best view in the house with the best atmosphere.
  11. I'll sell you my two season tickets in Block 42 for £150 each.
  12. Haha...just in case our skate mate decided to make an appearance I thought I'd jump in for a giggle....
  13. As we were.....
  14. Kept stopping - everytime we attacked! Shame because the picture was great but now switched over to eplsite where the picture is nothing to write home about!
  15. I hope you have more memories of your dad than that. Although as a Pompey fan I suppose you'd have trouble finding him.
  16. I'll be renewing once the hospitality packages are released.
  17. I'd take part but I don't like being limited to picking a manager that I've seen play for saints!
  18. Stephen Webster Plastics
  19. I do it because football is in the entertainment and I am entertaining them with free flowing and exciting football! Why does it matter which stand you are placed? Aren't we all there for the same reason?
  20. I've taken a Liverpool, spurs and arsenal fan into the Northam this season using my season tickets and they've enjoyed the banter with the people that stand around me and whilst not making a noise when something happened on the pitch, they've enjoyed the banter when something went against them. Stewards will not allow away colours in the stands but provided he doesn't make it wake at then his Newcastle shirt under his top will be fine. I'm in the corporate for this game with clients and can't believe we aren't allowed to wear jeans. All the money I've paid and I get told what to wear? At White Hart Lane last season it was the same story, one of my clients turned up in jeans and fitted in quite well with plenty of others wearing jeans. The moral of the story is that rules can be broken and provided people don't make a scene then you can get away with it BUT you're reliant on the average numpty football fan. Rugby on the other hand......
  21. Sold out for Newcastle and Man Utd.
  22. Amazing that no one replied considering the kind offer. Forum manners?
  23. None of the goals had anything to do with Chambers or even came from his side of the pitch. My point being that whenever he was faced with Suarez he coped admirably.
  24. Agreed - was outstanding tonight and looked like he had Suarez in his pocket all game.
  25. Re of used should've been 'recognised'.
