Where does it say kids HAVE to chose the Bath academy anyway?? Are they forced to attend this academy?? Surely they chose to go along ?? I don't get the fuss. Nothing to stop Bristol setting up a footballing academy in Brockenhurst is there? OR am I being massively naive and missing some rules somewhere?

I too had made this assumption. I also quite like the subtle change.

Been about a bit for someone so young... Parents living abroad etc... shows he has the mental stuff and sounds committed which is a huge factor. Hope he flourishes and realises his dream of pulling on the famous Saints shirt!

My favourite player as a nipper. Won a competition to win the new away shirt, presented to me by Jimmy at the club shop on day of release. A few photo's for the Echo. A nicer bloke you will not find. Spoke to me about the kit and how it would be tricky against the crowd (it was the horrible blue-flecked away kit from the early 90's). I was too star-struck to say anything other than the usual thank-yous etc. Lovely fella.

I like the current badge. As others have said its definitely "us" and instantly recognisable. However change and progress are inevitable and it seems tradition has no place in the modern game. That said I'm not sure I trust the club to come up with a decent design!
