Che wasn't rated, because Che was pretty shit, not because of who came before him. He scored 9 goals with 3 assists last season for Torino, and a monumental 6 goals and 2 assists in his last 31 games. If you had the choice of Adams, KWP, Smallbone and Edozie, or Downs, Sugawara, Fernandes and Dibling, which would you choose?

That's why I said 90% of the season. But either way we finished 4th, nowhere near mid table, with a Manager that the majority on here thought was utterly abysmal.

Because they don't want him that badly, as they have Pope. No-one wants to pay his fee and a lot of clubs are suffering with PSR limitations. He was also told he'd be let leave if we got relegated.

As I said previously, no PL teams are willing to trigger Ramsdale's release clause - Ramsdale is obviously aware of this. However, a loan may be a clever way of doing this - Ramsdale then gets a year to try to get himself past Pope (which I don't think he will personally), and if he does Newcastle will pony up. If not he comes back to us, most likely in the PL.

Your guess is as good as ours. I'm going for about the same. The problem is, greedy people are always going to find a way around these issues. There is no real solution to this unless you go the China route.

As I've been told, unless one of these teams is utterly desperate, no PL team is interested in Ramsdale. PL clubs do not seem to rate him. I think he will have to go abroad on loan, which means we'll have to pony up a lot of his wages as well. Not an ideal situation.

Who'd have thought, with all the shit that we gave him when he was here, that the answer to any question about us being a better team would be Che fucking Adams.

I think Archer is the embodiment of a clinical striker ie. a great finisher.
