This is the problem when the team is so bad and they feel they need results - they start to tinker and then get all out of kilter and eventually don't know their arse from their elbow. There is one main problem we have - shit players.

I'm sure we've had that discussion already...how did we finish that season? And also was that the same dogshite defence that conceded 2 against Champiknship Brentford, 5 at home to Spurs, 3 at Chelsea and 3 at Villa in that small selection of games?

When Stephens, Bednarek and KWP have played PL football for us (under a number of different Managers and styles) we have had a dogshite defence. I think that says everything I need to know.

What are you talking about - not sure anyone was overly happy with him leaving, but writing was on the wall when he left in the Jan window.

Apart from the last couple of games it is worse. For the most part we were on games with RM, as we kept hold of the ball. His issue was passing it out cost us so many goals that could have won games for us. We're not even close to being in those games under Juric.

I finally think that the fans are starting to get that the players are absolutely fucking appalling, irrelevant of who manages them. They'll say they didn't, and they thought this all along, but there is a lot of revisionist history on here. I'm glad they're realising this because there have been a number of naysayers on here that were saying it couldn't get any worse. Personally, I think this is worse.

FFS, that's 3 months before my planned retirement date...

So I took my wife (who thanked me afterwards 🤣) to see RW at Hyde Park - utterly incredible, and as an under 40 Floyd fan I never had the chance to see them as a proper band (even the later Gilmour, Wright, Mason incarnation) so this was pretty much the best opportunity I was going to get. Oddly enough I only became a fan after skiving off from Brock College in 2001, fucking off to Lymington and buying a ratty copy of DSOTM on vinyl from a charity shop - became utterly hooked and they are by far my favourite band (although that got me into a rabbit hole and Rush and King Crimson do push them a bit).

Took my kids (12 and 7) to see Aussie Pink Floyd in October - they loved it! I've still not seen any "cover" band that are as professional as them.

I'm just hoping they had a Momentary Lapse of Reason.

And I had such High Hopes for this season - however we spent so much Time in the Summer neglecting to spend the Money we should have. It's sad, because it's now become a situation of Us and Them with Sports Republic - and Echoes of past ownership problems. One of These Days maybe... At least with Saints Women, we may get a chance to See Emily Play.

I hope everyone goes tbh. There's no-one in this squad, bar Fernandes and Dibling, who I want to see here next year.

Yeah, he left two CBs on the bench because he thought the WBs would do a better job, that's my point. TBF, defence wasn't the issue today - scoring was the issue and we had no strikers playing.
