They all do it TBF, not going to have a go at them for that. -

If the BoE stop fannying about and reduce interest rates by 1% next time around we should see some good investment in the economy. -

Feels like Russians to me. Why would Labour want to leak it? -

Why did Badenoch not just announce it all in PMQs, that would have been so utterly embarrassing for the Government. She's so bad at thinking on her feet. -

The rich will wait out the Government for this one, yet all his millionaire mates have moved abroad because of inheritance tax increases. Really odd. -

We've been absolutely butt-fucked by this budget 😂 Oh well, hope they spend it well. -

No, Weston's comment was in regards to Riel wanting more investment (IE pay for Barristers) because she is Head of the CBA and works on behalf of Barristers. That's how I read it anyway? -

I'm unsure what we're debating here tbh 😂 I don't really have an opinion having not touched law since my degree, and not having ever worked in the sector. All I am saying is that someone who has called consistently for more investment into the sector as the solution is unlikely to like reform without further investment. From what I have read/heard though, the whole sector needs proper reform. -

No, not sure where I said that? But considering she wrote an article a few days earlier calling for an increase in investment I think that may well be a large contributory factor. -
The last 15 pages of this thread are pure comedy.

Essentially Riel wants more investment, that's all. -

Indeed. -
I'm glad Spors listened to me when I said let's not rush into appointing someone if we have a caretaker who's winning 😉

And imagine it being a manager that no-one wanted...

Yes, but we have that already - Magistrates Courts don't have juries. -

Yeah, the issue is money - 100%. But we have no money, so we can't solve it that way. She wrote an article 5 days ago telling the Government to pull their finger out and come up with a plan. She's now seen it and she's not happy - she seems to be a regular columnist for the Times. I can't find anything where she is proposing anything other than increasing funding, which we know isn't really possible. -

We have a broken/long/expensive system at the moment - this may help. -
Don't disagree, and not saying that it is higher than other countries. However, I think, personally, I see more issues now with the religious bigotry/xenophobia than I have ever seen from racism. What is great to see is that my kids do not even compute that someone could be marginalised/abused due to their colour.
-
I think racism has potentially given way to xenophobia/religious issues, rather than pure old school racism.

Would we have won the league with Ramsdale and Onuachu?
Farmer Saint replied to SaintsRoyalty's topic in The Saints
Not in my opinion. Ramsdale is massively overrated, hence the lack of suitors when we purchased him and when we went down. Paul was a novelty player but would have scored a lot, but wouldn't have played much anyway. The reason we are where we are is Still was not a good fit. -
Nope, but more we should be rushing to approve anyone as a perm manager, so it's not him.
-
I'm not saying give him the job, just keep him in charge until we find someone else.
-
So, do we still think Tonda shouldn't be given a chance as caretaker, or should we rush to appoint any old Tom, Dick or saggy cunt face instead?
