  1. Juric clearly doesn't like him though, so irrelevant if he'd be good for the team or not if the manager for next season doesn't want him. Doesn't stop us purchasing high upside and good Championship players as the tactic seems to be.

  3. I've been saying it since the Summer - our tactic is to become a yo-yo club and make money from high upside youngsters, with the hope that one year we will fluke our way to stay up with minimal investment. For teams that get promoted now with PSR it really is the only tactic unless you have a very good spine of players on promotion.
  4. Epic bantz lads.
  5. When I looked it up online it sounds like it was a common issue, and a fault with the design that they try to fob off on people. This was 2012 though so quite a while ago!
  6. We had a Miele fail within 6 months and when sent back we were charged £210 as they deemed our filters to be too dirty (we had replaced them 2 weeks earlier to ensure that wasn't the issue). Not used them since.
  7. Prutts is a lovely lad as well.

Absolutely - it was more to show how he did on a more even playing field and the utter shit players we've had for thee past 3 years.

In our relegation season? Try again. We all know Maths isn't your strong suit after your consistent inability to understand PSR.
  10. Guardiola inbound?
  11. We need some clear seasons of spending from a PSR point of view (which we'll now have unlike this season) and then need a shit or bust tactic like Forest, and to a lesser degree Fulham and Bournemouth. A strong core/spine would help - thought that could be THB, Downes etc but doesn't look like they're good enough for that.
  12. Agreed, but I'm just talking transfer costs (not including signing on fees/agent fees as can't get hold of these). It's more indicative of the spend versus other promoted clubs.

Win percentages for our last 5 managers then...have to bear in mind we had a much better squad in 2022/2023. Juric 0% win percentage 0 PPG 0.83 goals pg 2.83 goals against pg Martin 6% win percentage 0.31 PPG 0.69 goals pg 2.25 goals against pg Selles 12% win percentage 0.63 PPG 1.13 goals pg 2.06 goals against pg Jones 12% win percentage 0.38 PPG 0.75 goals pg 2.00 goals against pg Hassenhuttl 21% win percentage 0.86 PPG 0.86 goals pg 1.71 goals against pg
  14. Yeah, but also mentioned the two 9-0s and that those players had been in our defence too long. Either way, they're shit and not PL standard defensively in any of our seasons, and is one of the main reasons we've been so poor.
  15. The reason I had to tender my resignation was due to my source saying my clues were too obvious and getting annoyed - I still get information but I'm no longer allowed to post it. Not that it matters this transfer window #nowtexciting.
  16. Yep £35m to sign those two, and we lost Che and Stu, so £35m to go backwards before the season even started.
  17. We were poor defensively the year we went down as well, and let's not forget we shipped 9 twice under Ralph. Bednarek and Stephens are not PL defenders, and KWP is poor defensively and they have been in our defence for too long.
  18. True - defence is just not good enough, and I don't think ever will be. You only have to look at the amount of goals we shipped last year in the Championship.
  19. I think we've been preparing for the Championship all along. Apart from Ramsdale we have only purchased young players with potential or Championship players. Just pushes us towards a yo-yo strategy.
  20. It's why I consistently said last year that getting promoted is probably not the best thing for the club as we'd be hamstrung.
  21. We also don't have the hangover from 2022/2023 which we do currently as that year will be out of the 3 year cycle.
