TBF, if ABK and Taylor were playing they'd be playing next to each other for the first time as well. ABK is refusing to get game time in the reserves, so he doesn't deserve to get a chance anyway. Taylor has clearly had a run in, or maybe he's not great playing in a Martin system.

The ridiculousness of it all is that no-one has bought Jags with their current branding for the last 15 years, and it's not because they were bad cars - in fact lots of them were excellent. If we get relegated, and this is the scary one, our PSR liability for loss reduce to £61m (this season it is £83m rather than the full £105m) over the 3 seasons for last season, this season and next season. That's because in the Championship you are only allowed a loss of £13m. This could mean we may start with a points deduction next season if we are overzealous in our spending this year. That's where you have to be so clever with the accounting periods now.

So the sacking I think goes against this year, dependant on the contract in place (single or phased payoff).

It does, but we spent a lot, have increased wage costs (although not hugely), and the promotion money is variable. We also lost out on the parachute payments. It's a total amount over 3 years (£105m loss - although less for us as we had a season in the Championship) so would take into account the mad spending of 2022-2023 and higher wages of that season, multiple sacked managers etc. I'm unsure if this is fully down to PSR in all honesty as I know we did enquire about Managers post Leicester.

I don't think so - it's why posters are allowed to be stalked on the forum for having the gall to suggest that maybe the club has a strategy that spreads the risk and allows relegation in a sustainable way.
