Martin’s teams always concede too many goals! We’ve returned to the Premier League with a squad that doesn’t have enough quality to score anywhere near enough to cover our defensive weaknesses. In the Championship other teams couldn’t capitalize on our turnovers of possession in dangerous areas, unfortunately that is not the case currently and everyone we play knows exactly how to turn us over. With Arsenal and Man City on the horizon Martin is in big trouble and so our Saints fans.

Puma do a good job with keeping home jerseys fairly traditional while experimenting more with Away and Third. Sizes run a little small compared to Adidas and Nike products. Their retail prices are in line with other major manufacturers so no shocks there. Puma aren’t bringing Saints jerseys to US market but that maybe the clubs decision.

My biggest fear is what our squad will look like if we don’t go up this season. Automatic or through playoffs I don’t care which one at this point. Most of our best performers are loan players and we will loose them all for next season if still stuck in the Championship and without those players our quality level drops drastically and that would basically sentence us to a long period away from promotion. Fingers are still crossed and enough games left to play, COYS!!🙏🙏🙏

Not fair to blame Baz, he also made some great saves. If anything the club not getting a proper striker (AGAIN) has effectively stopped us scoring enough goals to be a top side, playoffs not a disaster but definitely a worry.

Other teams are always going to have good spells and it should never be a surprise, our problem is in our best patches we don’t score enough. We start passing negative and not hurting the opposition, they then start to believe and start to fight back and we fall apart.

I’m currently sacrificing chickens and staying away from black cats in the faint hope Ross can actually play again and god forbid be a striker that scores.
