My biggest fear is what our squad will look like if we don’t go up this season. Automatic or through playoffs I don’t care which one at this point. Most of our best performers are loan players and we will loose them all for next season if still stuck in the Championship and without those players our quality level drops drastically and that would basically sentence us to a long period away from promotion. Not fair to blame Baz, he also made some great saves. If anything the club not getting a proper striker (AGAIN) has effectively stopped us scoring enough goals to be a top side, playoffs not a disaster but definitely a worry.

Other teams are always going to have good spells and it should never be a surprise, our problem is in our best patches we don’t score enough. We start passing negative and not hurting the opposition, they then start to believe and start to fight back and we fall apart.

I’m currently sacrificing chickens and staying away from black cats in the faint hope Ross can actually play again and god forbid be a striker that scores.

We haven’t had a proper goal scorer for 3 seasons and it was the main reason for most of our problems and pain which finally led to relegation. So when we went into yet another transfer window to fix it we bought an injured one, having a decent striker would have won today’s game and that’s why people are frustrated.

I know it’s a fairly new problem but does anyone think we need a striker/goalscorer?

All in all a much improved performance. Better balance of playing out of the back while also retaining a good direct threat with pace. Possibly our strongest lineup with maybe Charles for Smallbone. He took his goal well but his lack of pace is concerning, always pulling shirts to try and recover.

Don’t only leave 1 player back on corners, there done it for him.

It’s laughable to say or think that the fans that turn up every week and hand over their hard earned money are in anyway to blame for the current situation or the awful last 3 seasons. They’ve been served up a shit show by so called professionals making hundreds of times what the they make but still turn up in the distant hope Saints show up and produce. Don’t ever blame them, they will still be here when all the frauds are long gone.

He mentioned scar tissue again, if it’s a problem that we fold every time we concede or something goes wrong I’d say you and Wilcox totally failed in the transfer window and shouldn’t of got in players that have no intestinal fortitude and collapse like cheap deck chairs.
