  1. At the moment I'd fancy Cameron Archer to be more effective.
  2. Erm, yeah about that...
  3. Lol. Jokes on you, England will have already lost the cricket by the time this is on.
  4. Yeah, but you have to verify your age for that these days.
  5. Will anyone stay up tomorrow to watch the Jake Paul v Anthony Joshua fight? Can't say I'm massively in to boxing (I refuse to pay to watch box office stuff in particular), but I hate to admit that I'm intrigued by this fight. Joshua should, presumably, win comfortably by knock out. If he doesn't it's either one of the biggest shocks in sporting history or (much more likely) embarrassingly scripted. I don't know much about Jake Paul other than the fact that he looks like a fucking bell end. Hopefully he'll get walloped by the first punch.
  6. Snicko? More like Shitto.
  7. Switched on just in time for tea. What a pleasant surprise, only 5 down and not a single duck. 🫠
  8. I need to wake up at about 4am tomorrow. I just know that when I do, the Aussies will still be batting (either the tailenders still going, or having starter their second innings. Neither would surprise me).
  9. The 6-3 and 3-1 victories v United. As a poor school kid in Dorset surrounded by Man Yoo fans, it was rather enjoyable.
  10. Not a patch on Rudi Skacel signing though.
  11. A couple of off piste suggestions. Obviously not in the same league as the above, but honourable mentions for things that stand out for me. 2003 cup run (despite the loss in the final) JPT final Play off 2nd leg v Derby (despite the loss) The first game after Liebher took over - friendly v Ajax but just the sense that we had our club back, properly. First game back in the Championship v Leeds (suddenly the belief that we were REALLY back) Rickie Lambert's equaliser v City the following season. The 8-0 v Sunderland. Gabbiadini's winner v Swansea. Play off victory.
  12. They put words in his mouth, literally. Apparently. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpvd81470v1o
  13. I see he's claiming that the BBC stuff is completely fake, and that he never uttered those words and that it's probably AI. Obviously the BBC edited things in a stupid way, but it's clearly not AI. The worrying thing is though, that I suspect this is a sign of things to come from now on... do anything you want and if it goes badly claim it's AI/fake. Yes, basically the same as what he's always done, but potentially more dangerous now than ever before.
  14. Merry Christmas Pompey.
  15. Romeu loves Saints. I love Romeu. But, I don't think he's what we need on the pitch anymore, unfortunately.
  16. The commentator loved it.
  17. The commentator loved it.
  18. Unfortunately there probably won't be. There will, however, be terrible atmospheres with few "real fans" there.
  19. Mo Elyonousi (or however you spell his name).
  20. Overdue a draw. 1-1.
  21. The defeatables?
  22. FIFA has confirmed there will be three-minute hydration breaks in each half of every game at next year's World Cup regardless of whether there's hot weather or not, which I am sure is to do with player welfare and not US obsession with having 4 quarters and squeezing in a couple of extra ad breaks. Luckily we will have half time shows to look forward to though which makes up for it.
  23. It's on YouTube too which I appreciate older demographics probably won't like.
  24. Bet you a fiver that's not right.
  25. Genuinely looking forward to the designated "Pride match" at the world cup. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce8q01d56v7o
