  1. Whilst they won't admit it, it must feel so hollow for Boro being at Wembley today. Whilst I'd love to be promoted I'd hate it if the circumstances were reversed.
  2. I found the fact that ice is cold particularly enlightening.
  3. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13546248/southampton-expelled-from-play-offs-saints-chief-executive-describes-spygate-punishment-as-manifestly-disproportionate-to-the-offence
  4. With regret, yes. Shame as I still think he'll have a decent managerial career but I just don't see how he can come back from what's happened here.
  5. Anyone with travel already booked still planning a day in London?
  6. Anger/acceptance with a hint of whatever stage it is if I still think Kim whats-his-face is a smarmy twat.
  7. Yep, he came across as a massive prick throughout.
  8. Tonda had (has?) a promising career, and I agree, I suspect he was unaware of the rule and didn't necessarily see it as an issue. As we all know, it's pretty common practice particularly across Europe. However, unfortunately for him, it was his job to make sure he knew stuff like this. A victim to some extent of his own success and being thrown in at the deep end.
  9. I agree, I feel like that to an extent. But then I think back to Leeds and don't remember us/or anyone particularly goading them about it for years after it happened. Until all this nonsense started a few weeks ago, I barely remembered that had even happened. Yes, this has got a bit more media coverage ...and I know that the rules have changed since...but that doesn't change what the offence actually is. We'll probably get a fair bit of stick next season, and Boro/Pompey fans will never let it go, but that's because they don't have much else going for them in their cess pits.
  10. Yeah, but on the bright side we probably know who takes the throw ins for Oxford when they're training.
  11. Those fans who've been putting cream in their carbonara deserve every bit of this misery.
  12. Think of the money we could have saved if we'd adopted the same approach for some of our players in recent years.
  13. What makes you think he was talking about Sven? The other two might be equally as competent.
  14. Why haven't the mods pinned this yet?
  15. That's because it's not even a carbonara FFS. Next you'll be telling me you add bacon to it 🫪
  16. Disagree. You can be both.
  17. To be fair, it's quite common for people who don't cook very often to think there's cream in a carbonara. Anyway, let's get back to Spygate.
  18. Carbonara doesn't have cream in. HTH.
  19. When you write an excellent post on SWF and it's the last on the page so doesn't get the credit it deserves.
  20. What about the groundsman?
  21. Much more interested in what James Corden thinks to be honest.
  22. The two aren't mutually exclusive. It's clearly a big deal. We almost certainly didn't gain a material advantage.
  23. How many analysts work at the club? If for instance there were half a dozen more, and all have experience from previous clubs, would be interesting to know how much they'd be willing to put their necks on the line to call it out (if it is indeed rife...). Obviously multiple wrongs, don't make a right. And wouldn't expect any analysts from other clubs to call it out at this time. Anyway, that's my last thought on the matter. Got work today, and my train is just about to pass Wembley. Lucky me.
  24. Surely you've realised we're incompetent by now?
  25. If it does, just drive it in plain sight and hope you don't get caught?
