Manage Southampton on Football Manager 2026

Imagine the half-time team talks from Lord Duckhunter -
Did you need MS DOS? If there is a version not needing that it would be fab to play it again.

More than Status Quo and possibly more than GM even. -

100 pts for me having voted Tory 2017 as May’s deal whilst naive was far better than what we ended up with from Johnson and Frost (and was obviously so) and Corbyn’s manifesto. Not a very socialist thing to do. My usual party were in disarray post-Brexit and 2015 GE wipeout (apparently austerity was only down to us). Other than that, agree with the rest of that table - if you’re beyond 600 pts it’s a sad state of affairs. -
The former players are generally a bit easier to manipulate - barring Neville and Carragher at the brighter end. A lot of the reporters and presenters are cabs for hire same as the red top political journalists, except you are swapping political parties for elite football clubs using mouthpieces to further their interests and pursuits.

Hopefully there’s still the Mobile version, whether or not they have a deal to download via Netflix. -
Hoffenheim did the dirty last summer with the medical scare and since then the equation for buying clubs has been - wages + rumoured minor heart issue + rumoured attitude + Saints wanting around 10 Euro = computer says no. If he really isn’t in Still’s plans at all, give the new manager a break and at least get rid of his wages this month even if the fee is a token one Euro or something. SR are good at selling but even this horse is too deceased to flog.

I’m not sure Baz is the issue at the moment - McCarthy made one good early save but his handling was horrific and led to THB having to bail him out.

28 shots! Must be closing in on a centenary faced from half-a-dozen games and still to face a genuinely decent team. Fraud of a manager. Could be very toxic at Ibrox if Celtic do them over next.
-
Sugawara wasn’t it?
-
Best footballer on the pitch shows why.
-
Probably not if one of them doesn’t go.
-
Archer as well
-
More Keith Cassells. Clumsy lump with no first touch. Lawrie didn’t make loads of transfer mistakes but that was one. Still at least Mark Wright came our way from Oxford eventually.
-
I do because with RS sick it means the American ‘won a lottery to play’ stays on. The scout at the Koln games must have over-done the pre-match Kolsch big time. Mind you, it is a lovely drop.
-
Or use them.

When we refuse to pay the market rate for the division we are in, very hard. I thought for £7m he’d be quite raw but we are talking Flynn Downes-cooked chicken livers.
-
Early days but hard to imagine how Downs got Bundesliga 2 double figures for a big club. I thought he’d be like an early Kenwyne Jones but he’s far worse so far. Not just missing two sitters but he’s like concrete, ball bounces off him.
-
Did alright there, Downs was Sunday league though 😂
-
That was better. Perkins taking a risk grabbing Sugawara’s shirt back post there.
-
Stupid foul Sugawara. The shit players in the squad really are showing themselves. I reckon we will improve and win second half in slightly cooler conditions but poor first half again.
-
Add BBD to the final bullet and I agree. McCarthy hasn’t looked too secure handling it either.
-
We were there as well. Murty did indeed play as did Paul Wotton. 3-2 to us fighting off a late comeback. Freezing cold wind on the way back to our car.
-
That would be like Saints bidding £5m for Jack Rudoni. Smacks of ‘oh well, we tried’ from the Hammers.

Saudi good for all if there are interested parties but there’s the rub. Only Beskitas could get close in that list to matching let alone exceeding what he is on here even with the relegation clause, hence his agent dreaming about Saudi. If there’s interest there for Joe, great. Was a link to Leipzig but can’t see that. Clearly not in Still’s plans. He’s an ok player but nothing more. Doesn’t want to be at the club. Move on please.
