  1. Glad it wasn’t just me! Assuming it’s some kind of social media influenced connected with the club that the organisers dislike. Great to see it overall though. Hope it comes off and gets reported. Wolves fans having a decent go today.
  2. Sarah Pochin still going and having a pop at Anas Sarwar now https://www.thenational.scot/news/25572754.racist-reform-uk-mp-attacks-anas-sarwar-white-speech/
  3. Agreed on the above, but still no excuse for people to vote for this rabble of conspiracy theories, unfounded attack on the RNLI and all round dreadful behaviour https://northeastbylines.co.uk/news/politics/chaos-engulfs-reform-uk-in-northumberland/ Same for every council they control includes the astonishing proceedings video in Kent https://theconversation.com/kent-county-council-is-reforms-shop-window-its-leaked-zoom-call-implies-chaos-and-poor-leadership-267900 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cz7pe443lp5o
  4. I picked it up from the match day thread I think it was, a couple of people posted it who had listened to Going Home with Adam & Jo. Like you I’m out of Solent area. Closest I could pick it up when I lived in Devon was on the hills above Lyme Regis.
  5. Some naked ambition from Reform in Northants https://www.northamptonchron.co.uk/news/politics/council/deputy-leader-of-reform-led-west-northants-council-reportedly-logged-into-online-meeting-while-preparing-a-bath-with-fellow-councillor-getting-more-than-an-eyeful-in-the-process-5340545 Indeed, things seen which cannot be unseen…
  6. They’d have to know what those were first.
  7. Disturbing that this is seen as OK for a political party to say https://www.independent.co.uk/tv/news/sarah-pochin-reform-gb-news-advertising-black-asian-video-b2852382.html If Griffin had said that on QT it would have been a national scandal. But as it’s Reform, only the Indy, Mirror and Guardian will report, possibly Sky News. BBC and the other red tops will put their fingers in their ears. Was a JP for 20 years as well.
  8. Clip here https://www.independent.co.uk/tv/news/sarah-pochin-reform-gb-news-advertising-black-asian-video-b2852382.html No different to something Griffin or Tyndall would have said. Pure racism. But Reform are actually making small gains amongst British Indians for example. If a party leader expressed hate for white middle aged from the Cotswolds I sure as hell would NOT be considering voting for them. Sarah Pochin is going to be a liability for them though in the medium-term.
  9. And has the backing of the Coates family Bet 365 empire.
  10. Has to be - one common variable.
  11. Which is another damning verdict on SR - no way an experienced manager like Cooper would have tolerated that interference. Let alone the likes of Warnock 10-15 years ago. First team managers are meant to be first team managers. Added to the cryptic comments on Solent post-match (didn’t hear it but others did) about Spors complaining of regular interference in his role and obvious who it is despite having ‘stepped back’.
  12. This isn’t a surprise - when Spors was unveiled at an SMS home game last season smiling, Rasmus made a point of sitting nearby glaring at him as if Dragan had allowed someone else to play with his train set. I’ve worked with people like Rasmus and the only way your organisation recovers is with him out of it altogether.
  13. Two relegations and likely a third this season to ‘Agent Redknapp’s’ one. Solak has also overseen a far better Serbian SFC demolition job than Milan Mandaric could have delivered deliberately.
  14. Although those aren’t worth anything if SR wasn’t a going concern.
  15. Jack had 12 months left and the extension was for another 24 months so yes, three years in total I’m afraid.
  16. Rasmus - Spors has made some horrific decisions but when it emerged that Rasmus was still selling players in the summer you realised that he’d still found ways to interfere. Pretty sure that’s why the keeper and striker positions weren’t sorted so it didn’t come up at the SR board meetings about the dreadful mistakes on Bazunu and Stewart. You can debate the roles/mistakes from Shields, Wilcox, Spors, what Kraft did/didn’t do (Rasmus stabbed him in the back too) and the revolving door of scared rabbit managers, but there’s one constant factor….
  17. Doesn’t need the benefit of hindsight to know that his summer three year extension was a massive red flag about Spors judgement.
  18. Stewart getting long-term injured was hardly a surprise to anyone unless they had an IQ of 50 or less, and Palace realised De Boer was a fuck up and put it right within 4 games, that’s a manager. Forest and Ange ditto. So yes, we can write Downs off after a dozen games and certainly Gavin Bazunu after several horrendous seasons. But SR doesn’t have the minerals to do so. Solak’s business woes might be the way out of all of this mess,
  19. If it got the club SR free, short term pain for longer term gain…
  20. Until the parachute ratios decline and he’s absorbing growing losses with far less opportunity to fund them from a growing pie at United Group.
  21. Sounds far more like the Branfoot years and Lowe protests than the odd set of banners and chants we saw for the Spurs disaster under Martin. About time and with Dragan losing control of United Group, it may the time to turn the temperature up some more. Our away support could do that but will the home support?
  22. And protests against him would be a gift for his domestic foes.
  23. Save the petrol and have a nice autumnal afternoon in Devon. There will plenty of other empty seats to keep it company, the Chapel looked half empty v Swansea.
  24. Solak is not necessarily in the strongest position though to absorb losses let alone a group https://www.eureporter.co/lifestyle/media/2025/10/21/european-media-dragan-solak-loses-control-of-united-group-in-court-defeat/
  25. Not 100% sure of the context in what was his business but yes, there seemed to be manoeuvres which succeeded in June in removing him from United Group’s board and having just looked, his action to the Dutch courts to be reinstated was rejected only last week https://www.eureporter.co/lifestyle/media/2025/10/21/european-media-dragan-solak-loses-control-of-united-group-in-court-defeat/ Quite a fall from grace in Serbia.
