It will be interesting to see how we react to going behind in a game, it hasn't happened under Tonda yet. As good as it's been he's only managed a handful of games at U21 and first team level, in an ideal world we keep it as it is right now for a few more games, how long does the 'new manager bounce' generally last for other clubs?

Fair point. Any truth in the rumours of the DEF fellas coming out of retirement for one last jolly? Tickets blagged in the Dockers they say, anyway, understand you can’t say too much, loose lips etc.

Someone trying to get himself a mention on the Millwall forums… Apparently they were a bit ropey first half at home to Sheff Wed but really upped it in the second. I’m sure they’ve done their homework and will be aware how we’ve ripped the oppo apart early on recently but if we haven’t got that comfortable lead by halftime we may also need to be on it a bit more after. Decent side but may have one or two injuries and can we keep another clean sheet? Doubtful so will go 1-2, away-day joy.

I would suggest the Kingsland (blocks 35-37) or Itchen blocks (1-3) closer to the Northam. They’d probably like the Northam fanzine before and after (and accessible from those Itchen blocks at halftime.

One silver lining, PFC Levski is now basically controlled by SFC.

He's a gem and agree deserving of his own chant, Something like this imo, catchy tune, simple and achievable (with fewer words) for our crowd 🎶 "We love Scienza, if it's quite alright We love Scienza, in the red and white We love Scienza Trust in me when I say" 🎶

I think the last time we had such a convincing and enjoyable first 45 mins away from home would have been at Swansea in the Championship 23/24, then the disappointing next 45 as all RM wanted was possession and showboat passing. Yesterday's second half was, although less enjoyable, a more professional game management with an eye on a big game a few days later. But have to agree about the Nathan Jones chant, OK do it once a bit tongue-in-cheek but to then keep it going was tinpot. FFS just enjoy a very good performance and knocking 5 in away from home.

One that, I believe, has never been a manager, the other currently in the Norwegian second division. Probably true then.

That was a very reasonable suggestion 11 years ago, if only we had someone who could occasionally stick the ball in the net…and had a four syllable name. Probably too much to ask for.

It’s…ahem…a long term project, it might/might not work but keep buying the tickets, purchase the food, drink and merchandise and one day it might just work. They chose SFC for this experiment as too many of our (passive) support wouldn’t grumble and not kick up too much of a fuss but those pesky other ones, after a few years of mostly shite, are running out of patience. Sort it out.

Amazing he ever moved over 100 miles from Exeter to Southampton in the first place really.

Player/manager?

Funnily enough, I've never noticed it before, but I've just walked across that bridge and amazingly.....

...like most of the others fookers around him.

Just out of interest, what does your football agent mate have to say, he seemed to be somewhat in-the-know previously?

Echo everyone’s thoughts, sad news - RIP

The only way that happens is if someone buys Ramsdale in Jan. Only loaning him in the summer ruled out bringing anyone other than a third choice in, he was never coming back so should have tried harder to sell. And he’s now said he already wants to make the Newcastle move permanent https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aaron-ramsdale-makes-newcastle-united-32833060.amp

The press box inside St Mary's is in the Chapel side of the Itchen stand and they appeared to hear it OK from there and reported on it, Alfie House said it was loud and clear. So the Directors box would certainly have heard it, maybe the *cough* fan (likely sitting in there) disputing this does need to get his ears tested.

...Viera.....Russell Martin.................................................................
-
Wishful thinking but it brightens the day...

Viera is a good shout for me, would he now see himself above a (which we presently are) struggling Championship club? But I agree with 'sfc4prem' and others that he'd walk through the door with the aura of a Koeman. Instant respect. He's the kind of personality that this club is now crying out for, you'd expect he would have a fairly instant impact at this level. If O'Neil didn't have this connection and self-confessed admiration for the skates I would say he wasn't the worst choice, I still wouldn't want him, and I think he may very well improve through experience. But anyone who went down there in 2005, we were (in hindsight) lucky not to get in until long after kick-off as the OB deliberately delayed our trains, saw the damage saggy had done to that side that day...anyone got that shot of Redknapp winking...?
-
Anyone who says he grew up a Millwall fan (or any other club) but later switches support to a different club is little more than a cunt imo - even more reason to sack this stupid fookin' idea off He also said that even when he was manager down there he'd have "walked over broken glass" to get the Southampton job. He was a fantastic player for us, two spells, and one of my favourite eras as manager. He may very well have had affection for the skates from his time there, he was a likeable fella, but he loved Southampton.

FFS …20 years ago 😳 Booooo to the ex-skate btw
