If we get Boro and that's all they're giving us then I hope we reciprocate. Give them the same 2,000 and put netting over 500 seats in the away section either side of them. The slight drop in revenue will be a drop in the ocean and will just add to home advantage regarding support. And I'll be amazed if any more than a couple of hundred (and don't think it will even be that many) don't use their tickets now for Preston. Edit: Just had a look on the OS and they've still sold more yesterday. Of the extra tickets they put on sale a couple of days ago in the first small block on the end there's only 24 left and just 8 tickets at the other end, so all but 32 of the 5,600 have been sold. I'd say we'll have around 5,500 up there.

A few will probably bin this off now but I don’t think it will be many tbh. I actually think it may be a better atmosphere now, rather than half the crowd with heads to phones following other games, this should now get everyone’s full attention. There’s still enough about it for finishing as high in the playoffs as possible to give the game an edge. We’re still planning on making a good day of it.

I’m still looking forward to this, shame about a 12:30 kick-off but still enough riding on this game to keep it competitive. Club have just released a few more tickets in the first small end block, must be ones not taken up by staff.

They’re coming to win promotion tonight, their players and fans will be bang up for it, so would we if the boot was on the other foot. Hard to tell how it will go with us after the last flat home game from everyone and Saturday’s exertions but hopefully we go again and we leave everything on the pitch and in the stands. -
Ingie 😁 green streaks in his hair, what ever happened to him…?

Mine were through the door when we got back Saturday.

If Azaz could have waited just another 4 minutes before sticking that one away...Stokesy scored on 83 mins and we held out that day! Cracking day, how fookin' nuts did everyone go when Azaz hit that? -

Man City 2-1 Saints - Match Thread

Hopefully this weekend might just make the FA have a rethink on staging semi-finals at Wembley. It's paid for now and there's enough big new stadiums to host these games, even if does mean less tickets available. City sold around 24,000 (I read on their forum that they have given 1,000 away free to good causes), Chelsea were struggling to sell theirs with just us and Leeds selling the full 36,000. I don't know how many neutrals will be there but Wembley will likely be around 25,000 under capacity for our game. -
We all loved Fernandes like we’re now loving Sienza, will we still be loving him if he’s poached in the summer? I’m still a bit of a Matty fan as I probably would be with Leo in similar circumstances.

City have sold around 24,000, we’ve got 80 x £90 tickets left l which will be gone soon once some say “fuck it” and just pay the extortionate prices, so 36,000 Saints fans -

Reckon they were what the club had held back for sponsors, etc and later released, which probably make up most of the 200 tickets now left. All £90 tickets, 100 each on opposite sides of the stadium and 2 x £70 tickets up in the gods. -

It's now a battle for 3rd/4th place which ensures a play-off second leg at home. -

Just had a look, there seems to be blocks of newly available seats that looked like they should have been in our initial batch of tickets, wonder if that's seats the club had held back for their own purposes. And strangely, a number of available tickets behind the goal that I would have thought would have been in our previously 'sold out' allocation. We got tickets in the upper tier last week as nothing available lower tier when it got to members. -

Yeah, how hard can it be? Clearly stated “initial allocation” so even if they couldn’t release more over the weekend the it had to be first thing this morning. Probably down to the FA and just further shows how little they regard the fans. -

This is what we've done in the end as one of ours is not drinking anyway. Parking on someone's drive for a fiver next to the station. 20mins straight to Waterloo. -

This is what was on that City forum which does suggest they've sold little more than 20k so far: L1: 3,573 L2: 486 L5: 2,139 Total Left: 6,198 (+ Approx 6,000 - 7,000) I'm not really knocking them when they've been there so many times and won just about everything thanks to their riches, but could mean we get some of their spares. Carlisle only sold about the same for the JPT final in 2010 which meant we could take around 50,000, if we get any extra it will be nothing like that. Anyone used the trainpal app to buy train tickets, decent prices on there, using a railcard (also £27 discounted railcards purchased through them) -

Looked earlier, open return working out about £65 each, 2hr 20min, unless anyone seen cheaper Edit: that's not using Railcards, etc. -

Joined 9:20, got in after around 15 mins and then logged in. Selected and put tickets in basket a few times only to say no longer available, eventually got some different ones Now to check the carnage on the trains. -

Was n’t anything you’d done, they went to ‘unavailable’ last night, must have sold remainder in that section and had to wait until this morning when they released the next block. I bought some earlier and they were selling well. Once this block is sold out there’s just a small block on the end to go.
-
It was certainly a bitch that Boro and Norwich fluffed their lines at the weekend.
-
Can’t see that myself, if that was the intention then it would just be cheaper to buy the current half-priced membership which will almost certainly guarantee you a semi-final ticket.

He's Chelsea but no doubt has a soft spot for them having worked down there on radio covering their matches. But you're correct, he is a cunt and somehow steals a living commentating on games.
