Ticket releases for August and Portsmouth games?
TheAlehouseBrawlers replied to Ekimr's topic in The Saints
When I was on there earlier there was just over 1,300 tickets left. Around a 1,000 of those in the blocks either side of the away corner. One single seat in the Northam. Will sell-out soon but I would think there’ll be more available once they open the ticket exchange as ST holders who’ll be off on holiday put their seats up. -
Castellon should provide a good test tomorrow, they beat Valencia in a friendly at the weekend (wouldn't know quality of line-ups involved) but decent opposition at this stage. Espanyol will be a step up on Saturday - club billing this as 'behind-closed-doors' but Espanyol giving free entry to their fans if members which may add more of an edge. https://www.rcdespanyol.com/en/new/ticket-process-for-friendly-against-southampton-fc/18884

We’ve shot ourselves in the foot a bit there by not making segregation adjustable in the away corner, giving away fans 3,000 is a fook up in this division. You’d like to think we’ve already arranged a reciprocal agreement with clubs like Brum with similar size stadiums. If we’re going well and some away supports are rattling away in that corner while home fans can’t buy tickets, then will understandably piss a few off. -
…and just before the skates. Could seriously disrupt any momentum we may have picked up for a bit while they’ll likely have a settled line-up by then, no-one will be smashing the door down for their players.

Maybe wrong red and white stripes...

Ain’t we off to a northern Spain training camp next week and playing Espanyol at some point? Good chance to take a closer look at each other.

Must be my maths then. I’m still waiting on my mate to pull his finger out and renew his membership so we can book seats and I’m keeping an eye on it. I roughly totted up the home blocks as it tells what’s left in each one and counted around 2800. Edit: Just gone back and had another look, not a lot has changed as still around 2,800 available, looking like there'll still be some up for grabs after the membership window closes. 1,500 of the tickets are in the blocks either side of the aways. -

Was under 3000 left a couple of days ago, still on sale to members so looks likely any left should go quickly if they reach General Sale (don’t know when that window opens) -
Anyone mentioned Gary Hopper? If not…….. Gary Hopper. Oh and Oliver Bierh……….
-
Not sure where you’re getting your information but there’s loads left, particularly either side of the aways. Northam has just about sold out, just one or two single seats left but plenty elsewhere. Probably pick up once it goes to General Sale (members window right now)

Yuki Sugawara - Official: Loaned to Bremen
TheAlehouseBrawlers replied to Saint Scott's topic in The Saints
He had a tough baptism of fire in the PL in a poor side for his first stint in England. This could be a good season for him at this level and who knows, he may blossom into a more complete defender, particularly with an entirely different approach with Still. Only 25, fingers crossed we’re still to see the best of him. -
If there’s clubs considering the likes of Aribo, Bednarek and ABK then I would think they’ll be waiting to late in the window to try and grab a bargain as we’ll likely be desperate to offload. And probably the same stance as most buying clubs as is often the case. Little the selling club can do.

Once it goes to General Sale it should pick up but for all the reasons you say it likely won’t sell-out first game. And it’s looking a bit lonely right now for the few that ditched the Northam to be alongside the aways in the Chapel, most seats available. Probably pick up a bit nearer to the game but an easy job for the stewards to keep fans seated and pull out anyone if the ‘banter’ gets a bit lively! -

Incidentally, I'm still waiting on a mate to renew his membership before I can start getting tickets but had a look at availability for the opening games. The Northam is just about sold out but plenty more elsewhere, particularly either side of the away section. Just goes to show, despite some slagging it off, that it's the most popular stand to be in. -

I'm a member, I don't feel like a mug. And it cost me £25 which it would have done for anyone if they got on and bought one. I never had a ST from 71/72 season until the Dell went all-seater and then had one up to recent times when my circumstances changed and a membership became better suited. It gives me first shot at home league tickets, a better chance of aways and almost guarantees a Play-Off ticket. Small outlay and you get a bit back with deals for some matches. -

I would imagine a few skates may buy a SFC membership to try and get a ticket and vise-versa…just saying… -
If they're doing well St Andrews will be a bit of a bear pit for visiting teams, easily the most atmospheric in this division. The noise from all round the stadium when they played Newcastle on TV in the FA Cup last season was a bit special.

I feel another skate fairy (ahem...ferry) tale coming soon to go along with the mythical "dock strike". How many times are we going to hear that mentioned next season?
-
Knew I'd heard that before...
-
But…but…but…they did. The Umbro kits finished end of the 75-76 season, we then went with Admiral who produced the new home and away kits, we just got to see/use the yellow and blue first. There, to save another poster the trouble. Don’t thank me.
-
I don’t want to go all MLG on you but we got around 1,700 tickets last time and, tbh, I’d rather the 150 mile+ drive to Brum than the usual slow slog down to the depths of Devon…not so many tractors, caravans and tourists heading for the West Midlands!
-
I'm wondering why you say Plymouth "understandably" as if it were close by...we're closer to Birmingham. Bristol and Cardiff are closer, the London clubs half the distance. As a member, I'd say OK for most home games but little chance of most aways other than some of the long trips up north (particularly midweek). And next to no chance for skates, Oxford, and probably any game south of Stoke.

Yeah, got an email about it from the club that linked to it yesterday with an option to pre-register for Memberships https://saints-comms.com/p/2HKL-90Y/25-26-memberships-ryi I got tickets for ‘most’ games I wanted to attend in the last Championship season and again in the PL

We took around 3,000 there a couple of years back but they'll give you the entire end if you want it - something like 7,000. Edit: I think the most we've taken up there is 5,000 a few years ago now.

Yep, nothing but respect for KWP. Great servant to this club, enjoyed watching him play for us and nice fella to top it off - should leave with everyone’s best wishes.
