  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but since a lucky 1-0 win against Everton last season, every league clean sheet this lot have achieved have been in a game where "we" haven't scored ourselves. Absolutely pathetic. Get used to this perennial, second rate shite as this is the future with these losers at the wheel.
  2. Nothing clicked, nowt changed,no corner turned. Just yet more of the same ineffective shite brought about by the same old failures.
  3. Thanks to our inability to score from a plethora of first half chances, Swansea now have a platform to time waste and niggle a result from this.
  4. It will probably be yet another sloth ball/ crab ways/ bore fest as per usual. Not expecting ANYTHING else, get used to it, it's how SR roll.
  5. " Find the tools to replace him" ? Obviously not Downs then. Actually SR,s track record at finding tools is pretty good.
  6. Indeed, however "saving money" was not mentioned in my posts, the financial damage has already occurred with regards to this particular wonder signing. A loan out to a lower league club would still not be a bad Idea regardless of contracts, just to see how "good" he performs there.
  7. In case you haven't realised it yet, Saints will be paying him a huge amount of money in order to jog around the pitch doing sod all anyway. If you can somehow devise a method of getting a tune out of this dud, then for fucks sake have a word with someone at the club.
  8. Loan him out to Eastleigh, Sholing or somewhere for a month. If he can't score for them then cancel his contract.
  9. I guess what I'm trying to say is that SR have wasted more than this on other shite players . You are however correct in stating the fact of now being a Championship club the context of this waste is more profound. Until SR move away from these data driven gambles, then the club is destined to either stagnate or decline. Already some are looking towards the January transfer window as some sort of salvation, which in fact will probably only lead to yet more gambles of this type.
  10. From a SR point of view and their priority objective of making a profit on player purchases, they have drawn yet another dud from a not too massive outlay. From the perspective view of progressing the team to a level of realistic hopes of promotion, it's an absolute disaster especially with the injury to Stewart.
  11. Not too much of a gamble considering his cost, but a gamble well and truly lost nevertheless.
  12. It's making the same mistakes over and over again that pisses me off. This lot will never learn.
  13. SR have put together a " team" that lacks skill, pace, strength, guile and nous. Better coaching / tactics might achieve a top half finish, nothing more IMO.
  14. We slip away into obscurity.
  15. He's a ball over the top, one on one with the keeper merchant . How he fits into this sloth outfit is a mystery to me.
  16. Looked decent, scored and now appear to have given up.
  17. You would have more potency from a team of eunuchs than this lot.
  18. Going to struggle to get a draw now. Going to tear up this league? Yeah right.
  19. A long standing problem addressed poorly YET again.
  20. The chances are getting missed in the transfer windows as far as decent strikers are concerned.
  21. Stick them both in a brothel and they both wouldn't score.
  22. If he (Still ) brings back the " old guard" to stink the place out yet again then I'm done with him,and for fucks sake don't waste a squad place on Downs.
  23. Despite the loss, Still must surely now know what players might do a job for him this season. And ones, both present and absent from that game that wont.
  24. Based on the first half hour, I would take a defeat here in exchange for this team being the preferred starting 11 from here on.
  25. Can anyone recommend a good lube for this game? Just asking on behalf of 11 friends.
