  1. Good point! He takes chances and makes things happen for us, that is all.
  2. Really unfair, and unfounded I would argue, as you live in Austria and dont attend many games. Puncheon takes chances, tries to make things happen, things often go wrong... its the nature of his gameplay. When Puncheon gets the ball, he always tires to go forward, not backwards like some of our midfielders. I cant believe how fickle the crowd have been towards him, even last season. People would just turn on him the second he lost the ball/messed up some trickery. In a way you wouldnt expect another player to be treated by there own fans, just for trying to make some **** happen! I understand its frustrating to watch at times, but without him it would be even worse for us, in my opinion. I guess its just Lallana making everyone look ****e!
  3. I understand that the clubs I have slated (and us) are where we are on merit, however I also believe it demonstrates how we/sky/PL-franchise have corrupted OUR game to the point where you don’t need support from your customers to compete. I believe this situation is turning full circle and the days of Harry Redknapp buying Champions League Quality players on £100k+ PW to play in front of 15k skates is nigh. Wigan on the TV are an embarrassment in my eyes, can’t even get close to capacity for the big four! The big boys are coming back, with proper infrastructure, support and history. Looking at the current PL table, well, its rubbish! We are yes. Fair point though, Holloway is having a fine honeymoon period, a little bit like Hull did. On the whole I would argue that the current crop of top 8 outsiders are purely whipping boys for the celebrity teams, where the showcase players get the opportunity to get a hat trick, whip in a free kick and generally posture to the cameras in glory. Leicester were lucky to get in my list, it could have been Cov, or Derby, Charlton, Sheff Utd... no excuse for small clubs in the PL. Pompey, with their debt mountain, tax evasion, total-liability-infrastructure, moral shambles and general corruption, may have saved the PL... in the most extreme ways perhaps, but at least we all know it isn’t feasible without a benefactor acting as a charity, or a well supported well established club!
  4. Agree all the way. shudder. It’s all about the Championship these days, proper league. Big clubs, good crowds with decent stadia... the skates dragging the league down as usual! Until these no mark clubs get flushed out the PL and the big boys regain there rightful place the prem is a place I have no desire to return to. Out with Wigan, Stoke, Bolton, Wolves, Blackpool, Fulham, Birmingham, West Brom in with Shef Weds, Leeds, Forest, Leciester, Saints, Newcastle, Norwich, QPR The prem highlights how gate receipts have taken a less important role with the broadcasting royalties being so significant. I’m sure once all the big boys have bottomed out (like us) and push back in, the likes of Wigan and the Skates will be gone for a generation.
  5. He was funny when he dealt with the media at St.Marys. I remember feeling awkward about the whole thing, it seemed clear to me that the wit used in years before had become a rabble. Very concerning at the time and I always thought it wouldnt take off for him at boro.
  6. Utterly hillarious, nice one. A few interesting points in there, just find it really funny the way you are suggesting posters on this forum that are faggers should have been terminated at pregnancy! I absolutely love women, beautiful women, its my main passion in life... love it. So i find gayers a bit wierd, and I agree with the social tolerance sending mixed messages. I cant begin to contemplate a couple of gay men adopting and raising a son, the child would be serverely messed up. Men are men in my opinion, we hunt, gather, provide and raise families... essentially, we eat, sleep and ****. Just dont get the whole fudge packing thing. That said its great kicking my birds back door in, but not some hairy bloke, no way. I worked in a pub with a gayer once, you would never have guessed it in a million years... proper bloke, justy loved getting done by men, never understood it but I didnt have a problem with it as he was a quality bloke. Its them flambouyant (sp.) types who mince around like proper ****ing gayers, what the **** is all that about? I refuse to believe that people are genetically defected and born gay, and as a result have to prance about like some retard. That is down to social tolerance and I have absolutely no time for these type of faggers, its just rediculous...
  7. Met a skate ST holder last night, was a little uncomfortable at first, but we shook hands. His wife came out after a few minutes to check we werent fighting! (I had a saints coat on, him a skate jumper...) We acknowledged how we would miss each other should the skates go to the wall. He seemed a little simple, however in fairness to him he was of the same opinion of most on here and really squirmed when we spoke of the string of owners and all the debt they blew off. In fact, Id go as far as saying he was ashamed to discuss the skate situation, the shame of association to that shower. It all came home when I started going on about the great markus and even the great NC! Before we met (ale fest), I spotted him, and had a quick rendition of Pompeys going down with no money in the bank... he knew, he knew... COYFL, tell Chinny Chanrai Faraj to do one!
  8. Liquidation, with Chanrai becoming the nasty landlord of the future. What was he saying before, the club can rent it from him for £1.2m a year? That should help AFC Pompey make the decision to play on the common. Mind you, if they are anything like the club they will be more than happy to build up some debt with there landlord! Chinny: 'sorry skates, its £1.2m P.A or im building some houses' Pompeys going down with no money in the bank.
  9. ten weeks till chrimbo skates, them poor players without there 80k a month...
  10. Were foreign clubs protected by the footy creditors rule/swindle? If not , maybe they are only recieving 2p over 5 years, and the skates will get the same. How long did poopey string along these football clubs last season, didnt Watford nearly go under due to the skates' posturing? Stunning isnt it... For all of Leon Crouchs faults, he chipped in when we needed it... there is such an unbridgable difference to the business practices of one end of the M27 to the other. Even Limpitt cant be bothered to pay off the local childrens cancer charities, quoted as something like 'taking care' of number one first. Defering the wages, superb. Its a shame that the magnificent Ali Al Faraj isnt about to send over the funds on floppy disc via Mark Jacobs' account! Afterall, Storrie told the fans that Ali 'would take you to a level you couldnt quite believe' and there has never been a truer word. Absolutely rotten to the core, a stained entity, there disregard seems to spread round the poopey island like a disease. Pompeys going down with no money in the bank...
  11. wonder if any of the journalists who are going to interview the Chilean miners will ask about the masturbating etiquette, and if they say nobody did it then send them back down the whole until they learn to tell the truth.
  12. pretty divided opinions on what partenership to use! Good situation to be in I guess, to have two/three decent CM combinations.
  13. Milan (theres only one) Mandaric Peter 'a level you wouldnt believe' Storrie - Alexandre 'Gunny' Gadymack - Sasha Gadymack - Andrew Andronikou Dr Sulamain Al Fahim © - Ali Al Faraj - Marc Jacobs - Danny Azougy Avram Grant - Balooo Chainrai (Subs: Tony Adams, Levis Kushnier, Terry the builder, Local 'Your having a laugh mush' skate, Ahmed Al Faraj, Justice 'fingers crossed Mann) (Manager: Harold 'tax evasion' Reknapp) My all time Pompey Takeover Saga XI Its a great team, real slippery and slimey, ideal for the DFCSB's. Storrie and AA greasing up the flanks, Grant and Baloo keeping the poopey spirit alive. The Gadymacks providing the ammunition in defence. The good doctor and azougy wide off the mark on the wings Al Faraj providing a visible presence in midfield alongside his trusted team mate Jacobs. What a stunning line up!
  14. yes x
  15. essential
  16. Amazing article, MM wants them post liquidation. I guess that means Gadymack and daddy do hold security over the club, Chanrai must be in bed with them... What a hillarious club, utterly fantastic, whoever continues to write this script is a genius!
  17. I think a number of Chairmen in football kept there opinions to themselves, I remember Gold making it clear he had seen the skates books, but refusing to confirm the name of the club. Society recognises the skates are a stained entity, they will struggle to recover from this.
  18. Nice
  19. 5. The Liebherr Family £3bn Southampton Ages various By the time of his tragic death in August, Markus Liebherr (pictured) had developed a real love of League One club Southampton – and, not uncoincidentally, endeared himself to Saints fans. The German-born, Swiss-based industrialist agreed a deal to buy Southampton in July 2009 within two hours of arriving at the St Mary's ground. No terms were disclosed but Southampton came out of administration and Liebherr claimed the deal was "ein Schnappchen" – a bargain. Liebherr initially inherited a fifth of his family’s industrial fortune when his father died in 1993, but he gave his shares back and developed his own business, Mali International. The whole Liebherr fortune is reckoned to be worth £3 billion. His family have pledged to continue his good work for the Saints, whose sights are set no lower than promotion to the Championship this season.
  20. Well, if we were to stay at St.Marys, then I feel the purchase of the gas works and all the old factories would be a good investment. Strip it all down and build the saints village. Supporters are currently all over the city buying food, drinks, and consuming activities at a cost. We should do our best to provide our own service and enhance our commercial activity, not just sticking some barriers on our car park! the middle tier at the Emirates is simply stunning. a whole highstreet of bars and restuarants all themed to provide an alternative to whats outside the ground, there was a weatherspoons style, walkabout sports style, llyods style diner and so on. This to me is the benchmark of what we can achieve with Saints. The potential for capital investment is decent in my opinion, I reckon the Liebherrs might go for a bit of that, rather than Yaya Toure on £1m a month wages!
  21. thats a good sign, im sure they would have done a few background checks before putting us fifth. I would like Cortese to run the club, and the Liebherr family step in only for infrastructural investment. Splash the broadcasting royalties on wages, and let the Liebherrs invest in property, in our new stadium, the saints village, train station.... perfect!
  22. I have always thought this could be the next big one.
  23. Though old super Kelv had been given the nod! Well done KD
  24. Decent chant
  25. Well done club, legitimately and professionally exposing the AFCB chairman for lieing to his supporter base. The bar tab thing is just poor form from AFCB, getting hammered and ducking the bill afterwards... classy
