Agree with a lot of that. It appears that much of the bickering in this thread (and others) really just boils down to a discussion about timelines and the right order of things. I don't think MLG is necessarily saying we *should* do it now, just that it appears we *might* be - understandable given the release of these images. Clearly it's early days though. Cortese seems to be hell-bent on making us a top 10 side (or actually better), and maybe - just maybe - he sees developing the stadium as being part and parcel of that. I.e. a parallel activity that actually helps us become a top 10 club (attracting better players, investment, other revenue streams etc), not something that is only possible afterwards.

Expectations are high, after 3 amazing seasons, and some pretty big spending (for us), but this is our first season back in the Premier League, so finishing 17th or above should be viewed as a success. p.s. we are currently 16th.
