OK... but... general principle... there are some images that form decent wallpapers on the o/s.

The background pictures on the official site make good wallpapers. They are generally high resolution... e.g. just from today... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/cms_images/stadium-front-shot148-193173.jpg http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/cms_images/stadium-fans148-218040_1600x900.jpg

Or maybe... Introducing Switzerhampton! (eagerly anticipates for The9 pointing out they normally play in white shorts)

I hate the kit. The change of colours from red-and-white to mostly-red-with-a-bit-of-white doesn't bother me as much as some. What I really hate is the fact it just looks utter **ite, especially the ridiculous sleeves... even more so now I've seen it on people wearing it around Southampton. That, and it's a lazy template design, rather than being something unique to SFC, which just completely devalues it. But I suspect the fans' opinion doesn't actually mean that much when the numbers are weighed up. A few thousand kit sales is small beer compared to the sponsorship rights. My guess is that removing stripes makes it easier to market the shirt space for sponsorship through the sponsor logo being more visible and easier to pick out on TV. I would assume we are looking for a fairly major brand once the aap3 deal expires. Probably end up with another pay-day loan company or online bookmaker like everyone else though.

I hear he's a bit busy this week.

#togetherasone surely?

That looks a lot like lowering of the expectations bar ... I thought they were the country's (world's?) biggest fan-owned club, and that attendances were about to shoot right up now that they have such a promising and exciting, future and after removing the blood-sucking parasites from the club? I'm sure the walk-up will be massive.

Perhaps consider throwing the Disability Discrimination Act at them? By refusing to sell him a disabled ticket, they are effectively denying him access to the service they provide.

He would be about as much use to us as his son was.

Breaking news sky sports - Pochettino will leave if NC quits

Presume all this will also put stadium expansion on hold? -
It's 13-0 (at least) as villa have to lose to wigan.

Key now is that he gets a summer to work with his players, bring in new faces and generally put his stamp on the team and the club. Then we will really see what he is made of. Or of course Cortese might sack him in August or something if we don't win our first match...
-
The point is that drawing against Sunderland will "sort it ourselves", barring an absolutely unfathomable freak result breaking a number of records.
-
No the point was if we draw tomorrow we are safe... We would have to lose by 13 goals at home to Stoke in order to go down.
-
Smash it at the Wigan players to try and get a deflection on the way in.
-
The worry for me is that the other teams know they are in a scrap. Whereas I get the impression Saints started to relax 3 or 4 games ago... people already starting to talk about next season, signing players on long term contracts, thinking about who are we going to bring in, talking about European football (fair play or CL or whatever)... Please Saints, just one more massive effort at the Stadium of Light. Win that and we're home and dry.
-
No no... Yeovil and Brentford are playing to get out of league one at the other end! One of those sides will be TWO divisions above the skates next season...

Next he'll be blaming his dog

Yeah but Stuart Robinson's a good ol' brit, not some money-grabbing loan-shark foreigner, so he'll know all about their history and passion! So it's totally different you see!
-
The "finance company" is just Stuart Robinson's vehicle for loaning money to the trust.

The ref didn't give gaston a free kick as he still had the ball and was actually getting away from Long. I.e. playing advantage. If anything it was looking like a promising attack. Gaston clear as day turned and looked for long before deliberately throwing his arm at him. Straight red, no question. Fox was already on a booking so was obviously on his way after that challenge. Having seen the replay, no argument with a straight red either.

They weren't planning on ditching it, but they were planning on it being self funding. Which isn't quite the same as making sustainable losses...
