Let's hope his words are more subtle than his challenges in the penalty area.
-
From memory both Cork and Fonte's deals were when we were in the Championship. Perhaps we are not offering them the pay rise they had assumed they were in line for?
-
So the board have taken a tough negotiating stance? Christ, they are ****ed either way. Surprised nobody has mentioned that Boruc and Steven Davis contract are up as well.

Curbishley @ 150-1 on SkyBet could be the bet of the century.

Some positive news in the press ... Hope it's accurate
St Chalet replied to BridgnorthSaint's topic in The Saints
So that is Lovren, Schneiderlin, Big Vic and Steve Davis in the press saying that they are not angling for a move. Just waiting for our captain to do the same. -
Being discussed on numerous threads, we don't need another variation.

Lallana for £25m Fabregas for £30m Appreciate there will be a big difference in wages, but who would you buy?
-
Do me a favour, cancel your season tickets and buy yourself a shiny new TV so you can watch The Champions League next season. If they won't refund you let me know how much you want for them and I'll see that some proper fans get use of them.

The rumour doing the Twittersphere is that we are after Neil Taylor as a replacement.
-
I reckon he might be in for a small pay rise as well.
-
Dear Adam, We are not selling you, future sorted Lots of Love Les and Ralph

Think it was the Guardian article that said we made Liverpool aware of Lambert's availability. Perhaps it was on our terms.
-
We are obviously adopting their tactic of changing the whole team every Summer. Just need to employ 3 managers over the course and adopt a **** with a Bell.
-
The spine of the side is Boruc, Lovren, Morgan, (one of Cork & Wanyama) and Lallana.
-
This, I just can't see where he will fit for them.
-
Billy Sharp anyone?
-
I wonder if Burnley will roll over and let us sign Ings for a pittance?
-
Go on, hammer that keyboard harder.

From memory this is 1st Rate ITK stuff from K Billy. So long Rickie.

Honestly the hysteria on here is palpable. He hasn't gone yet, and if he does I am sure we will get good money for him. I will be as gutted as the next fan to lose a player who has been a talisman on our journey. But we have to accept his age and the possibility he may not fit in the new managers plans. There does seem a concerted effort from clubs and the press to try it on with Saints to see if the change of board has become a change of policy in respect of selling players. This may well be orchestrated from a small bunker near Milan. So what evidence do we actually have? Krueger has repeatedly said we won't sell on anything but our terms. We have yet to sell one player, this includes the Arsenal Schneiderlin bid we rejected in January. I wasn't a fan of Krueger when I met him but would be amazed if he makes a strong statement on Wednesday and sells a club idol by the weekend. It may all go to rat ****, but let's judge it on the whole summer rather than getting all Chicken Lickin. If it is any consolation this is how Liverpool fans are feeling about Suarez and Citeh fans are feeling about Aguero and Toure. Our run of improvement will have to slowdown and reverse at some point. Maybe now, maybe later - but as a Public Enemy put it, "don't believe the hype".
-
Yep, we'd get circa £3m

"It's very clear we are in control of all the player transfers," said Southampton chairman Ralph Krueger. "All our top players are under long-term contract, and any transfers will take place on our terms. We will decide the terms of any potential transfers in and out of the club, and we will involve the [next] manager. That is important for everybody to know."
