I started watching Saints in the early mid-80s. So the first 3 kits I knew were not really the classic stripes. Not really fussed whether we go back to stripes next season, the plain red has grown on me.

What is Gecko Saint up to these days? Fairly sure he designed my favourite ever Away kit.

The squad added Tom Ince, Joe Ledley and Scott Danny on Friday. They should be ok.

He didn't have a great game today but wasn't the car crash some are making it out to be. Reminded me of how he looked when he first came to Saints, a little off the pace. The Cork move did come off. I think that they play very different roles. Cork plays a bit higher alongside Morgan where I think VW sits a little further back in front of the back four. Think they offer different qualities.

I hit my quarterly target so will be sandbagging those points.

Good luck Danny. Honest pro who lacked the positionall awareness to continue with us in the Prem. Lallana put him in his personal XI Saints players and he has been a great help in developing Luke Shaw.

Probably as pleasing for me is that a few years ago we'd have crumbled after going 2-1 down. We have a winning mentality that has stuck with us over our rise up the leagues.
