****ing Gareth Bale, how predictable.

Even if we do **** up and lose today..... We are four points clear of Wigan, with a better goal difference, 3 other teams below us and two games against Sunderland and Stoke. A draw would be a very good result here.
-
A goal for us here will make the last couple of games a lot more enjoyable.

Anything happening?

Fox isn't a world class left back, luckily we have one that will be. His failings have only been exposed due to Shaw's injuries. Along with Hooiveld he is not great and all being well shouldn't feature in the matchday squad but doesn't deserve the bandwagon abuse he gets.

Following on from the reaction thread, who do we think should be captain? For me, Rickie edges out Morgan. I will create a poll with some credible candidates.

I was in SA last year and playing golf with an old farmer. He had seen at first hand in both Zimbabwe and SA what had happened when land was given to people with no farming background based on the land distribution policies. He said that everything worked well for a year, the crops were good and all well. They celebrated by building nice houses and buying Mercedes cars. What they did neglect to do was give their mates overpaid jobs, failed to invest in the infrastructure or fertilise the ground for next years crops. The result was their crops got worse each year until they went out of business. I see parallels. Land given away at a price below what it was worth to the owners, jobs for the boys and the inevitable transfer bonanza at the expense of investing in a credible youth system.

Please ease up on Phil. The poor sod is about to get married! He doesn't need us moaning at him as well. Also I don't remember a song about 3 million miles.....

Saw a program this morning where one of the ex pros was banging on about how Arry's signings have been very good Townsend, Jenas and Remy - it is all the fault of the players he inherited. What are people's view of Samba and Tal Ben Haim's contribution?

There is one big advantage for us with the FL's frankly spineless although not surprising decision. At least we won't have to listen to all the bull**** about them being at a disadvantage all next season.

Rejoice, the PDT have the club. Let the surge to 150k posts begin.

Cash Convertors closes at 8 so this is feasible.

For all the backwards and forwards over points, they still haven't completed the deal - despite being 'ready to go' for weeks.
