  1. In the real world I am a Commercial Director. I'd just like to point out that turning down £2.5m compensation and paying someone not to work £2.5m to prove a point is not a very business savvy thing to do. I am quite sure the £100k a week could be spent more productively.
  2. Want me to rename this, Saints Manager 2016-2018 to save us the hassle later?
  3. The board are playing this the best they can. If Everton want to speak to him (officially) they have to get Southampton's permission. Once that request comes in the board will seek to agree potential compensation and then will ask Koeman if he wants to speak to them. At that point they can say he forced the move etc, secure a package and pluck another rabbit out of the hat. I like Les Reed, I like the fact we have a price and stick to it but I fear we are publically a little too soft and naive.
  4. Someone with more art skills than me photoshop Les Reed's on to Comical Ali's body please. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  5. Club put out article saying they think done deal, agent re-ignites Everton link. It would be an odd move for Koeman. We will replace him well I am sure but the message it sends out is we've hit our glass ceiling. The other thing that doesn't add up for me is Toffees are convinced they are getting the Spanish Paul Mitchell to join up Koeman, again makes no sense, why not pair him up with the bloke he has worked with so well at Sevilla?
  6. Disappointed if Koeman goes, gutted if it's to Everton. That said we'll no doubt have someone decent to come in and replace him. Life is really too short to start hanging on Twitter rumours.
  7. Each to their own.
  8. Saint Charlie or Koeman?
  9. Well this escalated quickly.
  10. I must explain the concept of oligopoly when I have more time.
  11. When it comes to Chronometers I'd generally say Rolex Daytona, although it's quite fussy and not very thin. Omega Speedmaster probably a better bet.
  12. Probably the story that ran in the Liverpool Echo today. Bookies odds are generally driven by activity, not necessarily info.* *this activity may be driven my actual punter info
  13. Quantity over quality from what I have seen there.
  14. PS which watch did you want? I might be able to recommend some people.
  15. I was really into watches as a kid. When I finally got some decent pay packets I treated myself to a Rolex. Since then I've bought 4 more and will wear / trade them for enjoyment. Asking what watch to buy is such a wide question! The first question I'd ask is what you are going to use it for? Before some wag says "to tell the time", every watch does that, most mechanical watches offer a 'complication'. These range from Date, Day, 2nd timezone (GMT) or stopwatch etc. Also you want to consider which brand to buy if you want to get your money back. Watches are not good investments, but buying the right ones can just about be inflation proof. Personally I've gone for a blend of what I like and what I think will do better than my bank interest rate over the next 10 years.
  16. I was waiting until he coughed up his fiver.

  18. Go easy, don't want too much excitement for you in one day!
  19. Who the **** is laughing now?
  20. I've recycled this one! Liverpool 1 down!
  21. I think I have tidied this up with your full list now as first post. Thanks again for collating.
