  1. It's madness isn't it! Will be heading to Milan with no expectations either way, just want to make the most of this. Always wanted to see Saints away in Europe, and always wanted to see a game at the San Siro/Guiseppe Meazza. Never in my wildest dreams would I have considered those two being one and the same.
  2. Fly from Birmingham to Linate (via a stop over in Brussels) at 11.20am. Back on the friday, reverse route. Strike permitting.
  3. Block 206 here. Dad and I cannot wait.
  4. F**ks sake. I'm working between Xmas and New Years. Bastards bastards bastards.
  5. Knowing me, Knowing you: Boufal There is nothing he can't do......
  6. Yet the one scored against Everton was a high looping one that found Crouchy in the area, not the usual flat missile he became known for. Funny old game. Cannot vouch for the previously referenced Jo Tessem goal mind.
  7. Very useful! Thankyou.
  8. I've just e-mailed them. Meant to be flying from Linate to Brussels at 12 on Brussels Airlines before getting a connection. Edit: Response received.
  9. Ok, this is a pain. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. Think a few pubs are advertising this in the local area. The Hunters Inn in Romsey is running one too.
  11. Good ol' Butterworth. Yes, I know who you mean.
  12. At Exeter I believe.
  13. Always struck me as odd that people found footballers like Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen, who I believe invested a lot in property, building up a portfolio that gave an excellent return in rent as unusual. Those type of not exactly spectacular but steadily returning investments are surely common sense when you earn that much money?
  14. What a journey we have been on. Enjoyed that, thanks for the link.
  15. YES!!!! The 2-1 Cup win. It was while the scores were at 1-1 in the second half.
  16. Just rewatching the 04/05 DVD.... Nope, wasn't this game.
  17. Don't think it was at Highbury. But, wow, that game was crazy. With Delap, always makes me laugh that we had the best long throw specialist in the league and barely used him. Only once did we try it and of course it worked, Peter Crouch scoring a header v Everton straight from a throw.
  18. I can remember he scored an absolutely astounding overhead kick against Spurs in a 1-0 win but I recall he performed another similar goal against someone but it was disallowed. I think maybe Man City? Can anyone else remember?
  19. One would assume they are pals now.
  20. After taking such joy in seeing players develop with us and break into the England side, and then seeing them leave, sometimes acrimoniously (Lallana) I simply do not get any fun from seeing our players in England colours anymore. It's just a sign that we are probably saying goodbye to them in the near future.
  21. Is he doing another one?
  22. Hear hear!!!!
  23. Get him out.
  24. I'll take that 0-0. Could go on a long ramble about the group being a marathon, not a sprint and how Be'er Sheva are probably the strongest side we are up against...... But, I'll take the 0-0 away draw.
