  1. Neil Allen got something right. ........I'm scared......
  2. I'm after a new unit to replace my now creaky 5 year old thing. Just need it to support my mobile devices, music, play Football Manager and browse the interwebs. I am open to suggestions but have found this: http://www.ballicom.co.uk/e4z60etabu-hp-prodesk-600-g1--tower--1-x-core-i3-4130--34-ghz--ram-4-gb--hdd-500-gb--dvd-supermulti--hd-graphics-4400--gige--windows-7-pro-64bit--8-pro-64bit-downgrade--preinstalle.p979842.html Frankly, is it any good?
  3. One now going 'LOL.' Of more bizarre interest is that Portsmyth is bidding to become the 'UK City of Football.' And there is a bit of banging on over them being the 'biggest fan owned ra-ra-something or other' over that. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/portsmouth-bids-to-become-uk-city-of-football-1-6057986#.U3Mmwv_GphQ.twitter
  4. To the first part, it certainly implies that she doesn't exactly want to asset strip. However, onto the second, she is part of an extremely rich family with global business interests, an international trip would be essentially mundane for her. Couple in the fact that her son reportedly has adopted the club into his heart (good lad if true...) then it's time as a family, mother and son at a football match. I wouldn't look too heavily into the fact that she is being pictured at games on that basis. Easy to read too much or too little into things. My personal perspective on the initial question. Does KL have our best interests at heart? I believe she does. Good intentions and resources are not always the same thing though, I believe she will want the best for us, but in a way that will ensure there will always be a club tomorrow. That, frankly, sounds great to me.
  5. What would you define as the club's best interests? Financial stability? Winning competitions? What is more important? It's an important question, different fans may have different perspectives on what the club's best interests may be.
  6. Just entertaining the rumour for a minute, why did Martin Jol want to go to Fulham?
  7. Just a tad! Nonetheless, the underlying theory....... No. I don't want to relive that memory anymore.
  8. Why would De Boer come here? Unless he sees parallels between us and Ajax and a chance to develop our youth system and the club in a very dutch manner..... ...That sounds scarily familiar actually.
  9. Frankly, I prefer it without them both. I've actually enjoyed using the forum over the last few days rather then finding it a necessary evil to use when searching for the latest goings on.
  10. Those sums are eye-watering. How do they compare to the Championship and sides with parachute payments this year?
  11. That is brilliant! Congratulations to them.
  12. Speaking personally thanks to my efforts with the Save Our Stripes stuff I am happy to sign. The Cardiff fans I spoke to were very sympathetic and backed any efforts we had to try and maintain our more traditional identity. Good luck to you all.
  13. Must confess it does seem a lot better, actually enjoying reading the conversations and discussions rather then just coming on to see if anything has happened.
  14. The shortage of the away kit was very noticeable too.
  15. There were reports on Twitter that the Veho CEO had seen the new kit, so it's probably been put together, just now needs to be produced by whatever arrangement agreed.
  16. Hmmm, due to the short lead times.... Unless agreed with our new sponsor Veho there is surely no reason why we cannot revert to stripes then.
  17. Purely for cash flow reasons i'm waiting until pay day this month. Seems very tactical that the renewals have been requested early this year.
  18. He has been noticed, that is fantastic news and richly deserved. Now he has a chance to show Deschamps what he can do.
  19. Very curious. A Cortese inspired hiatus?
  20. We live in hope.
  21. I would be inclined to say David Moyes but the type of football he plays wouldn't be an ideal fit for how we are currently setup. Michael Laudrup would make better sense but as above, his professionalism is questionable. What would people think of an approach for Shaun Dyche?
  22. True, sometimes it's just kinder for all involved to be put out of their misery though. The forum will be far better off without it.
