Yes, and it was clear here that Ramirez didn't fit Pochettino's tactical setup. He needed space on the ball to show his range of passing and vision, Pochettino needed him to be mobile and aggressive to shut the opposition down from their own defensive line, keeping them (and therefore us) tight up the pitch leaving space in the final third at a relative premium. I believe Koeman plays a game more akin to Adkins open attacking principles, the same type of setup that suited Gaston when he first joined us. Fingers crossed he can make the most of it.

Sim Racing does interest me, once my house move is concluded I am thinking of investing in a decent wheel/peddles set up and seeing if I can get into it. I am a little lost as to where to start though, are there any beginner categories I could have a go in just to enjoy or is it all utterly serious? With my job I will not be able to dedicate hours and hours to car set-up and track learning, I just want to have some fun with it.

Egos exist to be serviced, serviced by a lifetime of strangers telling him how awesome he is and coaches building up his confidence and status. He clearly didn't want to be perceived as a pariah, so he took out the article as insurance. That it backfired so terribly will be the last thing he expected, he's never had to deal with this kind of negativity before. A clear life lesson.
