  1. No, your point is irrelevant. I just find it highly amusing that you are disagreeing with yourself!
  2. Well, he did his best to string us along!
  3. Already in the Rickie to Liverpool thread but it's fair to be on it's own rather then lost. A fair statement from a modest man who is achieving everything he could have ever dreamt. We benefited massively from his time with us, just wish it could have been longer. He will always have my best wishes, hope to be able to buy him a drink sometime.
  4. Utterly fair statement. Good luck Rickie.
  5. Dude, you've just quoted yourself.....
  6. Glad the hysteria hasn't clouded your judgement that much. Fingers crossed for Koeman, him with a decent budget and hand on the academy tiller will be a shot in the arm.
  7. I would say takes one to know one..... But that would be a little harsh.
  8. With no Guly either this could be interesting. Give it to Boruc.
  9. No, clearly Marians!
  10. Shut up Glasgow. Should Keegan be removed because he went to Newcastle?
  11. Looked to be the same grin as when he scored for England for me, no smugness just astonished pride and disbelief. Of course he is no MLT, but no-one ever will be.
  12. No point accepting another offer if he won't agree personal terms. He's going home, I doubt any money in the world would change that for him.

    Lambert

Remember this thread like it was yesterday. Just who was Tac-tics? The names mentioned on the first page. Rickie Lambert and Simeon Jackson. What a split in fortunes.
  14. He gave his all for us and has gone further then he surely could have ever imagined when he came to us five years ago. Now a Liverpool player and an England international. He has fulfilled his wildest dreams thanks to his time here and helped to give us some incredible memories on the way. An astonishing story, Good luck Rickie.
  15. Interesting, there were a few times today when he was caught in possession but otherwise played ok. That goal v Brazil was a bit special mind.
  16. Marians. Can't go wrong.
  17. Change 'The Board' to 'SaintsWeb members' and I will agree with you. I would rather our board were allowed to work and put in some foundation in our coaching staff.
  18. Brewed in Kent by Shephard Neame, one of my Dad's favourites and widely available in Wetherspoons everywhere. The #1? Unlikely but for marketing purposes why not claim it.
  19. Depends who the new manager is and what resources he has to play with. Ronald Koeman and a 60m war chest would be very interesting.
  20. Who are the equivalent of Malbranque and Saha this time?
  21. Seems daft that to order this via sky you need to have your box connected by both Ethernet cable and phone-line.
  22. As things stand he looks extremely weak and full of hot air. He needs to work very quickly to have any chance of changing this impression.
  23. 1) Appoint a respected and experienced manager 2) Utilise all funds received from sales to re-invest in the first team. 3) Ensure the signings of players that not only add to our soon to be severely weakened first team but also add further depth compared to our previous make-up. It's not rocket science
