There would be a certain irony if shortly after they celebrate the signing of Rickie Lambert both Suarez and Ings joined their boyhood sides. (I'm assuming there is a large Real Madrid fan club in Montevideo...)

Im not interested in selling my support. I am a SAINT FOR LIFE

Amish? What's that, like Cornish? Can't stay and chat.... i'm off for a kick-about with the lads. Where's my sun tan lotion? -

Colinjb replied to Giordano's topic in The Saints
I love Saints, but my new mates tell me i'm better then supporting the club. I'm told that I could be happier and better off elsewhere, particularly somewhere in the northwest. I wouldn't even have to change my shirt colours significantly! Oh it's so tough, I can't handle these decisions alone. -
Just thankful that the PC version will take it's cues from the Xbox One and PS4 version this year rather then using the 360 and PS3 version as it's base.

Crossley was irritating, the only man to not only save a penalty but also score against us? [video=youtube;9dut-uGCO-8]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dut-uGCO-8

Due to recent memories and not being old enough to have vivid memories of Le Tiss in his prime I have gone for Rickie. What a choice to have though!

Considering how articulate, well spoken and measured he has previously been that is quite a change in tact.
-
Really sad news, he was no age... only 56.
-
Maybe this is the delay in confirming him. Ensuring he has this team in place ready to go.

The Prius has a worse overall life cost then essentially every other vehicle on the road thanks to it's reliance on batteries. Is this therefore the least gay car in the world? Equally the Tesla is a technological dead end thanks to it's need for batteries. A fashionable fad rather then an answer to the environmental challenge that is the car.

When i've seen him it struck me just how physically immature he is compared to Shaw. Very similar to Gareth Bale just before he started to flourish. The lad needs time.

Got a few comments when I looked after the ex's 3 year old but nothing too condescending. The attention from Single mothers towards a potential single father was however extremely flattering! Yeah, it can be tiring but it was so incredibly rewarding.

T-minus ten minutes till restart.

The Americans really are total wet blankets when it comes to weather conditions.

One of those who at times can look unplayable (In a less competitive league) but cannot do it consistently. Probably why he didn't get a look in first time around.

Fingers crossed that there is some fire to go with this smoke.

To repeat old posts: Just. get. it. done. A foundation to move on.

I would suggest that for other leagues the top scorers chart are more a consistent record of quality.

He did indeed. As I say, some do, some don't. For every Ronaldo mk 1 or Luis Suarez you get an Alves a Bas Dost, a Mounir El Hamdaoui or Bjorn Vleminckx. At best alright, at worst shocking. The league is very patchy.... hence the um-ing and ah-ing over things.
-
Lets not mention Afonso Alves. Some from the Netherlands can do it, others not so much.

Chambers v Shaw - am I deluding myself...
Colinjb replied to Legod Second Coming's topic in The Saints
Chambers is excellent. One of the good things about our academy is how we can turn out such physically mature yet able footballers. Shaw, Chambers, Gallagher. All within a short period. That Chambers could keep out Clyne is an absolute achievement. He has been linked to Arsenal for a reason, another season should see him flourish further and leave Clyne behind. Should he go though Clyne is a more then able premier league level right back. Comparing him to Shaw is wrong though, Shaw is a revelation, Chambers is not in the same league. -
Destiny? Strange word to use.
