22nd most prolific. I'm not sure how to feel right now.

Totally agree.

An excellent reward for a club stalwart.

A return for Davis in place of Ramirez is a no-brainer for me. Hopefully Shaw will be back to full fitness; we need a fox-less 90 minutes. For the back four, I hope Hooiveld isn't out for too long. Yoshida and Jos had built a good partnership, Jos's bravery ahead of Fonte's culture would have served us well last saturday, I can see Norwich playing in a similar style, trying to pick us off on the break. A point would be valuable, a win utterly sensational. I predict 1-1.

What has given you that impression? Incidentally, wind up or not, at least this is a conversation about football on here.

No...... He has the energy and commitment but not the outright ability and craft to be a good defender. It's why he's never played there before, he would be sent off in the first five minutes.

Well, as someone who didn't like the older games (clunky controls, a real caricature of a protagonist), i'm quite enjoying it!

There's been a complete franchise reboot. A new game has been released just this week! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Square-Enix-Tomb-Raider-Xbox/dp/B0051NNWGU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1362600880&sr=8-2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomb_Raider_(2013_video_game)

On the basis of the excellent reviews I've decided to give this franchise reboot a go. Played a little so far last night and have been rather impressed. Excellent atmosphere, good level layout and nice characterisation of Lara Croft. Anyone else given it a go?

On a sixpence these things can turn. Man Utd need two goals with a man down.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Modric.

Well, at least now the accusation's of referee bias towards the home side at Old Trafford now have a legitimate counter-point.

Are you full of eels?

lol @ Nani. That will be the sum total of my insight for the evening.

Well, yes!

They are being ok for a partisan production.

If only he was a little stronger, great skill in his legs though.

Vegard Forren has scored. Unmarked at the back post and volleys it home.

Strong team. Looking forward to seeing how Forren, Target and Sinclair perform.

Outstanding. Cheers.

Am I right in thinking Liverpool TV is a free channel?

Sorry to dredge up an old discussion but i've just seen this response. I am not arguing that Nicola Cortese hasn't put his own money in, he never had the wherewithal to do that. It is utterly indisputable that Leibherr's money wouldn't have gone into the club with Cortese's initial recommendation of Southampton FC and his ongoing commitment to manage the 'project' on Leibherr's behalf. The two were totally linked, they came in as either a pair or not at all. It wasn't just Leibherr's money that saved us, Nicola's commitment to the job also did. The initial statement which I shall post again to prevent further referral back to page one really is quite explicit.

Except when using the Skate Takeover Saga thread, of course!

Agreed. Come on Nicola, pay the man, he earned it.
