  1. It's gone to Bishops? The same Bishops that used to sponsor the Skates? Oh for f**ks sake. I'm sure their tender price was most competitive, but for f**ks sake Nicola.
  2. Nothing is coming 'up.' I am keeping the water down, it's just the other side effects that are a concern. Tried a dry cracker yesterday, yeah. Stomach pain and the squits followed. Thanks for the best wishes guys.
  3. I has it. Been unable to eat for a few days because it will cause a lot of 'issues.' I have been taking in water with rehydration salts constantly to give me a fighting chance. I therefore am in a case of catch 22. Need to eat to get strong, can't eat as it will 'set me off' again. Any 'safe' foods anyone could recommend?
  4. Positivity, love it.
  5. As it's human blood, yes. It is however very high in protein and extremely low in fat. Get stuck in!!!
  6. Giles Barnes and Meite released by West Brom.
  7. Good news. Fingers crossed for Oscar.
  8. Wes, why did you supply the Skates with that business plan!? You Genius!

  10. Hmmmm, the hinging statement (Or is it in fact a question? it's very poorly written.). Answer: Sometimes revealling too much too soon can be detrimental, especially when it's not ready. The interests of the supporting public can therefore be enhanced by keeping the information close until it's ready. But no, fine, the club owes every fan everything. The closing statement is hillarious. Nick, the virtue of patience would allow that to happen, from the 'fans' perspective at least anyway. Out of 22,000 people (an estimate at our average attendance this year) you will NEVER be able to please all the people all of the time. So frankly, fretting over the selective way our PR seems to operate can only be futile.
  11. I couldn't have said it better myself.
  12. You are right, but he doesn't seem to realise that while his attitude is like it is he will never reach his potential. He will show flashes of skill, consider that to be enough and then wonder why he's not loved when the inconsistency bites. The type of personality he is it's no surprise that he must hate us. Someone of that ego getting boo'd!?! His blinkered brain simply wouldn't be able to process it rationally.
  13. Nah, his bad attitude could infect the others.
  14. No need to wish him ill, Karma will take it's course.
  15. Absolutely, bringing the club into disrepute. And how exactly has he proved Adkins wrong? By joining a team mid-way up the Premiership and then getting relegated with them?
  16. F**k her Gently by Tenacious D.
  17. I have cut back massively on the amount I drink compared to how I was a year ago. My old routine would have been 6-8 cans of lager a night on a friday, saturday, sunday and 2 or 3 weeknights. A few nights in the pub wouldn't be uncommon either. The worst thing was that at the time it didn't feel anything other then normal! About a year ago, I noticed that I had finally reached the point were I basically stopped growing.... well, in terms of physical maturity anyway (I stopped growing at about 25/26.... took bloody long enough.) The drinking lifestyle I maintained therefore caused me to very quickly gain weight, my metabolism simply wasn't processing it anymore. That, coupled with a break-up where alcohol was given as her main bugbear gave me a reason to change. I changed my drinking to only being at the weekends. When visiting to Dad down in Winchester during home game weekends or friday nights out with my housemate. Then only one or two cans on the other nights of the weekend. During the week, if I fancy something a bit more interesting then water, tea or juice it'll be a Becks Blue or Cobra Zero. I quickly noticed that my sleep patterns stabilised, I had far, far more energy during the day. My quality of work increased and the previously mentioned other-half and I got back together. Another big after effect is that I cannot process as much Alcohol as I used to at my 'peak.' So I couldn't drink as much as before even if I wanted to, thankfully. I wouldn't want to give up drinking completely though, the bare fact is that I enjoy a pint! It would be a waste if in life you deprived yourself of everything you enjoy, naturally, as with otherthings that I enjoy (Burgers, Pizza, Curry, The odd episode of "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.") they need to be in moderation. All the best to anyone who does want to give up completely though, in terms of health it will surely only be beneficial.
  18. Apples work brilliantly, but only in pie form.
  19. Can we sing; "Europa League, you're having a laugh!" Holloway will love that.
  20. Wolves score. 3-2 now, they are back in with a shout now.
  21. This is madness!! Love it!
  22. Oh dear, poor old Blackpool.
  23. If true, so be it. Just so long it's resolved early so we can take the funds and reinvest.
  24. I do hope Blackpool stay up. More money for us when they buy Puncheon.
  25. Blackpool!!!! 2-1 to them! Crazy!!
