  1. Yes, I have it right here. Havn't contacted the CC company. They are my bank though, I've been checking the card's balance online daily.
  2. Both extremely capable devices then, just as I suspected.
  3. I am having some fun and games regarding some carpets I have purchased (well.... tried too.) Back on the 30th December I went to Carpet Right to buy two new carpets + underlay + fitting. Total cost £1000. They were having issues with their main computer systems at the time so I paid via credit card on one of those old fashioned manual swipe machines. Nearly a month on, the carpets have been installed... they are smashing..... but I still havn't been charged... I have nothing else on my credit card and enough of a balance to cover the sale so no problems there. I have told carpet right this but they say it's processed by a firm called 'Streamline.' Nothing to do with them. Where do I stand with this? Have I been given free carpets or will I get charged at some point in the future? Could I expect a baliff banging on the door or does my Sales Invoice protect me?
  4. You'll be in a Man Citeh pub? Right?
  5. I have no problem wearing my replica shirt. The other guests at the wedding reception in york may find it a little odd though.
  6. The inside radius of a running track is 36.4 meters. Each lane is about 1.2 meters. Length was taken from IAFF regulations which states an 85 meter straight, but ok, take 80m. Therefore the total length is: 80 meters + 2*radius (72.4) + 2* 8 lanes (2*8*1.2) = 162.5m Still way too much to fit inside SMS.
  7. The rectagular area required to fit a 400 meter running track with 8 lanes is 167m x 82.5m. The maximum dimensions of a pitch are 120m x 90m. (Minimum dimension is 90m x 50... considering that we have the largest pitch itself though.... I would expect that only Loftus Road is anywhere near this.) It would be tight, but unless there is 25m+ clearence from the front of the Chapel/Northam end to the pitch edge. No, it wouldn't fit. We do not have a running track and I am not a juvenile.
  8. Even allowing for the pitch perimeter there simply is not the space inside St Mary's for a full size running track. It may have been part of an original proposal but it certainly isn't there now. Even the shape of the stands doesn't work for it.
  9. The perimeter around our track is rather large. The only way to add seats would be to dig downwards to continue the stand..... that's impossible though due to St Mary's essentially being at Sea Level. We don't exactly suffer for it though... atmosphere at some of the bigger/more important games is always excellent in my experience.
  10. Don't worry, when it all comes to a head you will no doubt get the deserved reaction from our rational forum users.
  11. Formula One Motor racing. 1992-2000 or Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
  12. Hmmm, In the 'Your rumours' section. Wouldn't believe that.
  13. Heart says Oxo Head says Austin Neither would ever work long term though. Not unless we rise up the leagues rapidly.
  14. Yes, the chairman at the time had NOTHING to do with it.
  15. One word: Karma. Consider it well.
  16. What do you mean by 'have a bubble?' If someone wants a souvenir it's a good idea. I wouldn't touch it but can understand the appeal. Get off your high horse, there's all sorts to our fanbase, let them please themselves.
  17. Took a look at one, fake to the extreme. Nice idea but totally unendorsed.
  18. He was a cracking player after he returned from that loan to Ipswich.... His departure that following summer was a travesty.
  19. 3 tickets, as a courtesy for a game like this when they will be more then in demand is more then generous. We're a business, not an old boys club.
  20. Being on the bus is only half the story. Being in the building AND on the bus, well. Now you're taking!!!
  21. If Joseph Mills, Simon Gillet and Bart are good enough for the Championship, Rickie Lambert at 80% tilt will be good enough.
  22. Four comedians discussing current affairs on Ch4. Can't quite be sure if it's enlivening current affairs or making them just shallow enough to be entertaining. And I'm missing Question Time for it.... Yes. A mistake.
  23. Apparently his wife has been carrying on with his bodyguard. Couldn't cope. Oh well. But seriously? Ed Balls to replace him? Good god how unelectable do they want to be!?
  24. Has to be Wayne Thomas. I remember that moment well. "Oh great it's fallen to Thomas.... Awful first touch... useless bastar... OH MY GOD!!!!!!!'
  25. Errr, what? They didn't play Reading last night....
