Absolutely. Cortese is not an idiot, there will be a very valid reason for it.

Nicola Cortese is ruthlessly professional. Rupert Lowe was ruthlessly eccentric. They are both businessmen but the subtle differences mean the world. There are sensible and well reasoned meanings behind Cortese's actions, just he is far too dignified to be spouting off. He is not the problem, it is our inability as fans to think things through rationally and logically that is.

I would dissagree to an extent, the Goth (early 1990's and 2000's and then subsequent Emo cultures (Mid 00's on) are definitely musically linked. But things do now seem to be far more vague. I blame the internet, Tony Blair and the Gays.

The interview process is a two way thing. How many jobs have you turned down after a succesful interview? Would you rather he had accepted if he didn't actually want to be here?

Wouldn't have wanted him here. Just something a bit cheap about stealing a smaller neighbour's boss, the last time it happened was disasterous too, wasn't it Mr Twitch....

Having heard him speak and hearing how he does want to join us, but only if it's done in the right way, makes me want him here even more. He wasn't my first choice, not by any stretch but he sounds like just the kind of man I could respect.

I am a little concerned that the Scunny chairman stated we made an ultimatum for him to resign but that doesn't strike me as Cortese's style. So I would refer back to my theory and this being an emotional p*ssed off reaction from him.

It's an emotional business this. I firmly believe nothing untoward has happened.

Or maybe no one is lying. Adkins agrees terms subject to compensation to his current club and that has not been possible to negotiate. Scunny are p*ssed off as their fans favourite wants out but they can't get the money they want for him. We are in limbo as the negotiations have been fruitless. The search continues. No need for the vitriol, surely.
