Used to eat Subway all the time at University, the perks of a Subway being an inclusive part of the Student Union Bar. Was much, much better then the food in the halls of residence. Must say, it is rather expensive for what it is though.

He does make us laugh so. Shame he cannot share his wisdom more often with us.

No, this story still has a great deal of distance left to run. The sums behind how they run still don't add up, the amout they are getting away with is still mind boggling and Karma still hasn't taken it's final bite. The leg breaking comment was out of order, but beyond that keep it going!

As pathetic as your bank balance? I take it the stadium plans, signing of Kaka and employement of Maradona are all going to plan? With all this in the works I wouldn't worry too much about Liam Lawrence wanting out.

All things considered, Fonté for me. That will almost certainly change if we continue as we are.

Looks like my Dad will be going, he is up in yorkshire that weekend with the grandparents and so he is making the short trip to observe.

Always been impressed by the quality of them but never quite got into them because I didn't see the point without a track.

I collect two things. Football Shirts and F1 Car Models. I have a cabinet full of the F1 cars and a few that have spilt over from it. As for the football shirts I have over 80 now.

Ok. Barring an unsuccesful test drive I will be having the following: Ford Mondeo TDCi 2.0 (140) Zetec, Sports Suspension and Tinted Windows. Panther Black Metallic Paint. After doing some digging, it seems that the 2.0 TDCi Duratorq engine comes in at 115, 140 and 163 bhp levels. Could it be possible that the more 'gutless' ones stated above could be the 115 spec, or could the lower performance be just down to the extra car weight from the newer model?

Maybe a clearer criteria for Citizenship should be formulated. Something to be earned, not a birthright.

So Stockport are the desperate one. This player is the last hanger on for me from Lowe's Last Stand. The day he leaves will be a true watershed moment. (I don't include Wotton in that, after all. He played in a succesful Wembley final.)

Just been offered this as my new company car. The specs look pretty good, Sports Suspension, Cruise Control, Bluetooth connectivity etc. Anyone have any first hand experience with the latest Mondeo? I've heard good things but would rather hear it from an owner.

Bloody idiot. What a way to follow up your best performance of the season.

I do hope this is total cr*p. Thanks to the hard line pro way the club is run I doubt we will hear anything for a while though. -

Wilde, Crouch etc where in charge in the Championship. My point was that at 'Premiership' level they wouldn't work, survival would have happened but the ongoing downscaling of the club would just have left us more and more uncompetitive. But yes, it is history now either way, lets learn from the mistakes and move on. -

Not my suggestion, but long term, it still may be.... My god it could have been so different though. -

He was too cautious. The case study of us and the Skates show that the two extremes of over spending and prudence will only have one end result at Premiership level. -
I'm pretty sure that was back in 2000/01. Didn't score until about December then went on a 10 match scoring run or similar. That was when he truly established himself in a Saints shirt.

I bet Peter Storrie wished he'd have thought of 'nicking' that idea though! -
His problem is confidence. If that can be recovered then it will be worth much more then the few percentage of fitness he may be now lacking.

1. St Mary's Stadium - Regardless of circumstance, under him it happened. The Dell was great but without the infrastructure he built now way would Markus Liebherr have looked twice at us. 2. The Academy - It brough in a lot of cash, we would have been weaker without it even if it has been slightly horrifying seeing 95% of all graduates reach their end potential elsewhere. 3. Errr, well, we had some nice home shirt designs in his time. 4. The cup final 2003. I've seen us reach it in our lifetime. 5. At the end of the day, he made me laugh. -
I doubt it. The guy who invented the nuclear warhead has no idea how to prevent radiation poisoning.
