I do hope this is total cr*p. Thanks to the hard line pro way the club is run I doubt we will hear anything for a while though. -
Rupert Lowe did Good Things while he was at the club - discuss

Wilde, Crouch etc where in charge in the Championship. My point was that at 'Premiership' level they wouldn't work, survival would have happened but the ongoing downscaling of the club would just have left us more and more uncompetitive. But yes, it is history now either way, lets learn from the mistakes and move on. -

Not my suggestion, but long term, it still may be.... My god it could have been so different though. -

He was too cautious. The case study of us and the Skates show that the two extremes of over spending and prudence will only have one end result at Premiership level. -
I'm pretty sure that was back in 2000/01. Didn't score until about December then went on a 10 match scoring run or similar. That was when he truly established himself in a Saints shirt.

I bet Peter Storrie wished he'd have thought of 'nicking' that idea though! -
His problem is confidence. If that can be recovered then it will be worth much more then the few percentage of fitness he may be now lacking.

1. St Mary's Stadium - Regardless of circumstance, under him it happened. The Dell was great but without the infrastructure he built now way would Markus Liebherr have looked twice at us. 2. The Academy - It brough in a lot of cash, we would have been weaker without it even if it has been slightly horrifying seeing 95% of all graduates reach their end potential elsewhere. 3. Errr, well, we had some nice home shirt designs in his time. 4. The cup final 2003. I've seen us reach it in our lifetime. 5. At the end of the day, he made me laugh. -
I doubt it. The guy who invented the nuclear warhead has no idea how to prevent radiation poisoning.

A hotel in Malta had issues with the German's setting their watches for 6am, getting up and then reserving all the sun loungers. Of course, come 10am they where all 'reserved' but none used. The hotel management then imposed a policy of confiscating all towels placed onto them before 9am. It stopped the cultural clash in it's tracks and ensured that the pool side was then reasonably busy all day.

It's a chance for a lot of curious locals to see two teams they may follow play each other. Of course the attendance is up. This is not a derby though, you are not hated local rivals. May the best team win tomorrow and I genuinely hope you guys continue your good form for the rest of the season.

I appreciate that being a few hours away from Southampton makes my view different from potentially many others, but here is my take. I would rather have a club that is an 'expensive success.' I am currently a season ticket holder but have long accepted that I will not be able to sustain this much longer, I will soon (hopefully, in the next year or two) be getting married and start a family. Actually attending games, even now is a financial stretch and as such I would need to use this resource in a less selfish way. I want Saints to be succesful, I want to be able to be proud of my club from afar.... that will be so much easier to do if we start progressing up the leagues again. I have long accepted that I will not be a season ticket holder forever and will soon have to be content with the occasional game here and there.... I want that at as high a level as possible. If it costs me 35 pounds a ticket every two months or so then so be it.

I can tell you it works fine on the XBox 360. HTH.

No need, got pole and Victory!!! In a McLaren now, won Bahrain easily. It's a different world in the McLaren, to the extent that I am now 2 seconds a lap faster then everyone else. Time for Legendary difficulty I think.

Would be Brilliant if true. Always rated him, was a real bright spark for us back in 2006. -

If anything the Bournemouth Chairman will now be putting even more money into us by purchasing that box. Good lad!!!! -

After a few years on here I feel the same. Congratulations to them, looking at the league table they have exactly the club they deserve. -

I suspect this may have more to do with his previously unpaid bar bill then his idiotic overuse of free speech. In which case Cortese was bang on the money (as it where....) -
Last two race results: South Korea: 2nd Brazil 1st (Yep, another win for Hispania.) Just Abu Dhabi left now and I am 6 points ahead of Jenson. As I understand it, I will get the McLaren seat if I beat my main rival (Button) in the championship. Let's see if that's the case tonight.

I love it! It's utter mindless trash and sometimes that can be just the ticket. It's a Beer and Pizza film, certainly not one to be analysed. It's worth it just to see Danny Dyer's character get repeatedly belted in the groin.
