The interview process is a two way thing. How many jobs have you turned down after a succesful interview? Would you rather he had accepted if he didn't actually want to be here?

Having heard him speak and hearing how he does want to join us, but only if it's done in the right way, makes me want him here even more. He wasn't my first choice, not by any stretch but he sounds like just the kind of man I could respect.

I am a little concerned that the Scunny chairman stated we made an ultimatum for him to resign but that doesn't strike me as Cortese's style. So I would refer back to my theory and this being an emotional p*ssed off reaction from him.

It's an emotional business this. I firmly believe nothing untoward has happened.

Or maybe no one is lying. Adkins agrees terms subject to compensation to his current club and that has not been possible to negotiate. Scunny are p*ssed off as their fans favourite wants out but they can't get the money they want for him. We are in limbo as the negotiations have been fruitless. The search continues. No need for the vitriol, surely.

He got Hull into and kept them in the Premiership and at the very least things wouldn't be dull with him as manager. Just like Ian Holloway after his debacle at Leicester I would be happy to give him a chance to show he has learnt from any errors he may have made at the back end of his time at Hull. I would back Nigel Adkins if he is appointed but I would be utterly underwhelmed by it.

Frankly, I would prefer him to Nigel Adkins.

Yeah, just went on the Orange 45 plan. Unlimited txts, 1200 minutes. 750mb internet (unlimited via local WiFi though) 30 quid for handset, 45 quid a month. 24 month term. I'm a happy camper so far, and no 3 network issues.
