The one and only. Just realised that my results in my first career have been done with 'Pro' difficulty (Not 'Legendary') and still with auto gears on and Full traction control and it's the first season of 7. My results so far: Team: Hispania Bahrain: 13th Australia: 14th Malaysia: 10th Shanghai: 6th Spain: DNF (Far more difficult then the prior tracks.) Monaco: DNF (Was over 3.5 seconds off pole, hopeless, my god this track is unforgiving.) Turkey: 3rd Canada: 2nd Got reputation up to level 10 already and Lotus, Virgin, Toro Rosso and Sauber are showing interest in me for next season.

- Just posted my first impressions on the Codemasters forum. Here it is to share. Finally got the game this morning. 5 hours on I am ready to do my first impressions review. Firstly, the negatives. The pit lane bug has cost me a little bit, a points position at Oz was on until I got held up for 11 seconds but otherwise, by simply ignoring the pit in call I have avoided any more problems. Also, a points finish in a Hispania..... I have finished 6th at Malyasia and 10th and Shanghai. I fear the game may be a little on the easy side (although I will conceed I am using Auto gears and full traction control.) The presentation is almost too spartan for me and the 'live the life stuff...' well, it's not bad but it hardly makes me 'feel' like an F1 driver. However there is one overiding thing that renders all of the previous null and void.... ....Its an absolute blast to play! I am no sim expert, I have never played and in all likelihood will never have the time to devote myself to iRacing or similar. I am in full time employment with a lot of other obligations. Games like this are simply a hobby I want to enjoy. It is an absolutley wonderful game! As an F1 fan it has given me the up to date, graphically beautiful and adrenaline filled experience I was after. It is not perfect, hence why I will not give it a perfect score, but for 'fun' and 'enjoyment' alone - Which is after all what these things must be about, and in the knoewledge that the main problems will be addressed by the developers, I without hesitation give the game. 9/10

Do not ignore your own history, the lessons learnt will serve you well going forward. Great read Lets B, cheers for that.

The fuel expenses on some prior jobs have felt like wonderful perks. (40p a mile at one company, after a few trips a month it ended up like a second pay day.) Getting to visit many different parts of the country for work at the moment at the moment is fun. Some of the hotels i've stayed in on expenses have been outstanding.

It may well be the need for him to adjust to the pace/fitness requirements of the english game. (Or some similar cliché) When I saw him v Rochdale he reminded me a lot of Belmadi, technically able but not on the same wavelength as the players around him. I suspect there will be a lot more to come from him.

I never quite understood us signing Seaborne, especially when we seemingly snubbed Elliot Ward to get him in and he wasn't getting into the team ahead of Aaron Martin. However, after a not exactly emphatic start for us at the back end of last year Nige brought him straight back into the team v Colchester (where he did extremely well for me) and started up at Hillsborough. Is this just because of injuries to Martin and Fonte, or is he impressing Adkins enough to be first choice? Either way, best of luck to him.

Damnit, why can't my holiday finish now so I can play it! Fly back tomorrow evening and have Monday off to get to grips with it. Apparently the 'pitstop' bug where your crew is too cautious at releasing you when AI cars are around is being looked into. Either way.... Cannot wait.

Not Kyle Reece then? It's not a last gasp attempt to save humanity from Skynet?

Am looking forward to it, however it will be buggy as hell on release but i've never personally found it bugged to the point of unusable. Yay for patches.

To all extents and purposes for me, there was no time 'before' the internet. Honestly, i've no idea what I would do without it.

Nonetheless, they are still behind... just. And that's despite all of the 'bad news' coming from the Coalition regarding cuts. A good rebound but not surprising as there will be many people very p*ssed off at the loss of the quangos, public sector cuts etc. There will not be a generation of Coalition/Tory rule. As I said before, it will probably be a few terms of Tory/Labout/Tory/labour etc.

It seems things are quite 'black and white' in this issue. I accept your view and do believe that the banks where the proplem but ideologically I will always side with the Tories. In my own experience the two following states currently exist. 1) People that blame the tories for the cuts which are now curtailing the unsustainable lifestyles they garnered under labour's administration . 2) People that blame labour's administration for widespread waste in society (benefits claim culture, excessive immigration) and the unsustainable way in which society has gone which has rendered the cuts neccesary. It seems to be about a 50/50 split between the two. I don't expect either party to be in for a generation, it will in likelihood be a case of tory-labour-tory-labour for the next few terms... Which is a shame, because stability is required right now. A constant shift between the two ideals can only be damaging.

I do hope so. If the 'recovery' from recession can be managed properly without any major hiccoughs then I would expect a Tory governement next time, any major economic downturn or negative political incident though could lead to Labour (almost regardless of their core policies) being voted back in. The Mori polls right now make interesting reading. Voting intention right now is judged as: Tory: 41% Labour: 38% Lib Dem 12% (YouGov poll, 13th September)

Couldn't care less if he is right now, just so long he is a busy man.

The rules as a Saints fan. 1) The new manager effect never happens to us. (Adkins) 2) The rule of old players scoring against their old club never goes for us. (Puncheon) 3) just when things look up and hopeful, they will conspire to f**k up. (This f**king season.)
