While I respect the sentiment, he has my trust until somethings happens to show it's misplaced. As things stand though, no reason to doubt him!

My Dad has made the (frankly brilliant!) suggestion of buying me a Half season ticket for Xmas, however, after looking at the tickets sections on the main website it's clear that there is no direct lin to purchase one. I know where I want to sit, so it's just a question of making the purchase. However: Where do I got prices from? Will dad be able to make the purchase on my behalf? Can this be done online or only at the St Mary's Ticket office? Thanks for any help you can give guys.

I get the same impression, all the same we have to let him know how much we currently think of him.

Words fail me. Who thought that would be a good idea? -
Love you too darling.

Patience dear MB, patience.

You have three types of people in life, dicks, pussies and arseholes.....

Surely bates can't be the only one of us that listens to radio 2 Incidentally, the guy from the Telegraph who wrote the article on their debt was on Talksport earlier, he was very certain in his findings that they need fresh capital NOW!

A very bullish response. Sadly though, you do not get smoke without fire. Watford being threatened by their failure to pay being the key ignition point!
-
Who's gloating? I just feel no sympathy, there's a difference.
-
I feel for Watford there, it's not their fault, they sold in good faith (which incidentally is the only thing seemingly keeping the Skates going and it is FAST running out.) I wasn't aware that the football money could be 'blocked.' Talk about a good way to scupper a business plan!
-
If other Skates were as balanced as you I may actually have considered feeling sympathy right now. As it is, you are a minority, most revelled in our near death last year, so f**k you all. Here's to Bournemouth! Soon to be our only valid local rivals.

Whichever way you dress that up (pre-xmas sale for their SUPER fans!) that is desperate.

Take no chances, put out our strongest side.

Cortese offers you £5m on Jan 1st...what would you do?

Considering 6 players have been mentioned as a number then we should certainly consider that Pards wants to get a Championship standard/competitive squad in time for next season. As such, 4 players in the summer would be dependant on where we finish at the end of this season. -
I'm in the good situation of liking the people I work with, last friday we where up until 2 in the morning draining the Hotel bar, was outstanding. Stay until 10.30 then make your excuses, then you've stayed long enough to appear sociable but have left early enough not to appear too keen.... and you can make last orders at a prefer location.

Believed to be the layout Silverstone wish to run F1 on next year. Same as the new Moto GP track. Shame about losing Bridge, but otherwise looks a good idea, makes the complex a really good focal point.

Ah. Understood. Surely that has to be illegal though?

And if the investors took over the club for £0, but did get 70% or so of the company then they get 70% of whatever is paid for their share? But no, the investors in Saints lost everthing when we went into admin. It makes no sense.

In other words, they couldn't pay.

As Penalty coach. http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_5757571,00.html His technique of practising Pens was very interesting, as is his admission of being 'tight.'

Generally speaking I would agree with you, but they've been showcasing one of them around work, and it's a rather good vehicle! Reliability would be the only question mark for me, but hey, company car scheme! Also, it is a fact they praised some of Pug's cars in one of the early series. Specifically the 206 Estate.

We are as big/if not bigger a club then the following: Middlesborough Bolton Fulham The Skates Wigan Birmingham Blackburn Reading These are teams that have achieved comfortable mid table finishes and european qualification in recent years. With proper, consistent and professional management we can comfortably be a top ten premiership side. That could be said about a lot of other clubs though. (Nottingham Forest, Newcastle, Sunderland, Leeds etc)

It amazes me that a car show can run out of material when there has been 6 months worth of new cars released since the last series. The road tests don't need to be totally stupid (like with the Twingo, although I do feel it got it's point across quite effectively that it was a sturdy, affordable and entertaining little car) but an ironic review of the new Skoda Superb would be sweet. That they totally overlooked the new Pug 3008 for any kind of attention (positive/negative/whatever) when they had one of them on the show was totally stupid. Why have the damn thing, one of PSA's most important models of recent years on the show if they are not going to pass judgement on it?
