  1. Many thanks "9", can't believe I didn't think to look on Wiki.
  2. I read somewhere that Saturday's game was Jose Fonte's 200th league game for us. Which got me thinking about who else played more than 200 league games for us. I therefore tried searching online for some tables of our all-time leading appearence makers and goal scorers. But I can only seem to find stats that related just to the "premier league era". Anyone know of any data out there on the web that goes back further whether that be just top-flight (including pre-PL), or all 4 divisions?
  3. Nope sorry to disappoint. I'm personally aware of sucessful notices that have been served on landlords, particularly where the tenant population has been know to be variable/transient, but where problems are persistant. Unfortunately probably can't say much more than that without discussing specific cases. Additionally some of the various new powers under the Crime and Anti-social behaviour Act 2014, would be able to be used against Landlords, if they were deemed to acting (or failing to act) where there was a detriment effect on the quality of life for the local community.
  4. Beacuse Landlord's will/should have a tenancy agreement with their tenants which will require them to behave in a manner that does not adversely effect the community around the landlord's property. The Landlord is running a business and any business should not disrupt the lives of those that have top live near it. Complain to the local authority about the tenants behavoir, make sure you specify that this is an anti-social behavoir complaint. The LA will have powers to serve notice on both the tenants (and the landlord, if the landlord is refusing to enforce their tenancy agreement).
  5. Many years ago I had a mate who worked in a large department store, he knew a couple of members of staff, one who worked in electrical goods and another who worked in dispatch. Between them they would get you anything you wanted (new TV, Hoover, Microwave etc.) delivered to your house. The bloke in electricals would just take the item requested to his mate in dispatch and get it packed and labelled with your address and then it would be sent out and documented with other legitimate deliveries. Whenever there were stock takes the management could not understand how such large items were getting shoplifted past the store's security guards. Whenever
  6. Someone told me that the Russian boy at the end says "that's mine" in Russian when handed the drawing of the stickman...
  7. Awesome performance! Sometimes it is great to be a Saints fan.
  8. Streams are driving me nuts! Are there any good ones anywhere?
  9. But this is contradicted by the fixture list on the very same OS (and on the BBC website) which both say Saturday 3pm! The ticket article has more detail, so I guess I'll go with that...
  10. Still listed as Saturday 3pm on BBC and the OS... Are we sure this is going to be played on the Sunday?
  11. Had real problems booking tickets for this one online too. My old man and I have ST's next to each other and our acounts are linked, but it just would not let me purchase our both our normal seats for this one. In the end had to phone up the 0845 number so they could do it for me. I've not had that problem in the past.
  12. Does anyone else think that ****tenburg is itching to send a Saints player off?
  13. Bump
  14. Well chuffed with that price, well done Saints!
  15. You may have a pin hole in a coolant pipe, thus loosing some coolant when the engne is hot and there is pressure in the system. Is there a visable expansion tank under the bonnet with min and max marks on it? Any sign of leakage, or a fine mist near a rubber pipe when the engine is hot and running?
  16. Might go to this one. Currently have a 100% win record watching Saints at Brammall Lane after our 2-0 win on the first game of the season back in 1991ish? Hope we take a big following up there.
  17. Hi Redslo I think the only factor you didn't consider/comment on was the Harrison Reed effect, perhaps the club feels that we already have a younger cheaper alternative that may also in time become a better player.
  18. what's happening guys?
  19. Is that actually a serious music video, or just an extended advert for his clothing brand? Good to see that GDP seems to be enjoying life though!
  20. So I was doing my weekly shop in Waitrose. They has a special offer on packs of 3 Mars bars, 50p off. Some of the packs on the shelf were also labelled as containing an extra free bar. Obviously, I picked up one of packs with 4 bars in, rather than 3. Took them to the till. Did Waitrose cop a strop and refuse to sell them to me, because they were "separate offers"? No of course not. Makes me realise what a bunch of twunts Tesco are.
  21. This seems the most plausible explanation... I was there in the 2nd row of the East Stand upper, near the half way line, so I had a reasonably good view, (but was anyone in the 1st row of the archers?) It clearly looked like a goal to me, but is was very odd that the ball pinged straight back out into play, particularly as I don't recall the net "bulging" as such, hence the confusion. If there was something behind the goal such as the posts mentioned above, that caused the ball to rebound before the net became taught, it would explain it.
  22. Should this thread be re-located to the muppet show?
  23. Got paid today so just made my donation, he's just short of £140,000 according to the Just Giving site, wonder if that now includes money collected at the Newcastle game?
  24. If people were just prepared to sit on another fan's lap, then St Mary's would hold 64,000 already!
  25. Got my tickets today. First trip to the Emirates. Any update on how many sold so far?
