  1. What about if we lose at home tonight v Stoke reserves ?
  2. Top effort that, all the way from Sweden just for the Stoke game or treating themselves to a double header with Everton?
  3. Will Nathan Jones be in the studio for this one? Not sure if they even have a panel for these sky + games. Will keep an eye out for him at St Mary's as he's the obvious choice as a special guest
  4. The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw will take place live on Sky Sports following Spurs v Man City on Wednesday evening. The ball numbers are finalised on Wednesday morning. All last eight ties will be played during the week commencing Monday, December 16. That'll be a few days after Saints face Spurs at 7pm on a Sunday! Stoke City to beat first.
  5. I'm not sure they have the right players to suit his type of game
  6. It does sound ridiculous doesn't it, but the Kompany example going to Bayern from Burnley although extreme shows sometimes it's about more than results.
  7. I agree, but he's doing it with the blessing of the board , I get what Martin could gain from it in future employment but can't understand the acceptance from management other than they just don't know any better
  8. Hadnt realised that's on the same evening. Tough opponent for u21s, could limit the opportunities for the youngsters to be involved in the first team squad for Stoke.
  9. I miss the days of Scunthorpe being blurred out, now we have the class clowns trying to impress others using naughty words
  10. They're no mugs Stoke, you can see from this recent game they know how to score
  11. No worries pal, thought of one other option - offer your ticket on here to hopefully end up in the hands of someone who actually wants to go. Easy enough to transfer a ticket now , takes the burden away from you having to leave the house can just moan on here instead 👍🏻
  12. No worries. As someone who does a lot of away games having a season ticket is essential as gives me access to those so if you fancy trying some away days it's something else that you benefit from and might make help take away the feeling of being " lumbered with a season ticket that I don’t particularly want"
  13. Think of it as savings account that you'll benefit from when renewing for what looks set to be an exciting season in the championship 2025/26
  14. No problem, hopefully you don't feel so burdened having a season ticket now.
  15. Last four meetings at St Mary's April 2024 - Saints 0v1 Stoke March 2018 - Saints 0v0 Stoke May 2017 - Saints 0v1 Stoke Nov 2015 - Saints 0v1 Stoke
  16. Tuesday v Stoke? It's not on your season ticket so you wouldn't have to sell it back anyway
  17. Every single home game so far has sold out and had ticket exchange, you could have sold your ticket back for each one and can do for both Everton and Liverpool coming up
  18. I get the impression Martin isn't that fussed about the cup so he's probably not too fussed sitting it out.
  19. With Palace's win vs Spurs this afternoon as good as confirming our relegation we genuinely should start to focus on this competition, make something of the season and give the fans something to cheer. There's something gloriously unglamorous about this fixture , a nice antidote for those of us disillusioned by the Premier League. Whole Kingsland stand closed, plenty of seats left in Chapel and Northam , about 800 away fans tucked away in the corner, lovely stuff.
  20. Just heard Everton are unbeaten in 5? We're not winning that, draw at best
  21. https://x.com/BBCMOTD/status/1850230699116110307?t=D0gIb6hJSAkPNeBVjX4CWw&s=19 Nice praise from Pep. https://x.com/premierleague/status/1850286279285436556?t=hvBj4O1D3LCa2Wx5A5jylQ&s=19
  22. Million times worse than our owners, Reading fans would swap with us in a heartbeat
  23. Ha are you trying to give Reading's board credit? The asylum is a mad house there, whole club is a mess, they have no idea what they are doing.
  24. I think you're getting a bit emotional, we've had Harry Redknapp ffs, Martin is one of only 3 managers to have guided Saints to a Wembley win , hate is a bit strong in my opinion
  25. There is a comedy character in there for sure.
