Football Special

Seems a bit odd? In these friendlies doesn't the whole squad usually make up the team and the bench? No one actually gets omitted? Anyone else from squad announcement not in the match day squad?

I think its relying on earlier speculation around his injury as a source, other than result and goal scorer there doesn't seem to be any reporting on who played in the game

Good going that. Looking forward to West Ham despite the ground, a 61k crowd , big fixture etc West Brom going on sale , feels like we go there midweek a lot, tough sell to be honest doubt we'll take more than 1500 https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/west-bromwich-albion-vs-southampton-2627

It seems that way, luckily as Bazunu is no longer our player we dont need to worry about his activism. No damage to our dressing room spirit. Peretz will appreciate Azaz , strong bond there, handshake 🤝 bros Manning isn't the brightest lad, he's probably wondering why everyone is making such a fuss about the legendary former England midfielder

How does AI know 🤔?

Thanks, is there a match report somewhere? Had a look on official site must have missed it

How about Jander? He'll need a few games to get up to speed

I'd say thats quite likely and Irish FA not wanting him to dilute their PR exercise Some comments from the Irish activists towards him have been pretty grim so he's better off out of it Get a rest before Skates at home Finn

Manning (Ireland) playing against Peretz (Israel) currently, Azaz on the bench

They all count!

Forgot this was on overnight, anyone watch it? Came off after 76 mins hopefully gets some more rest in the next game

Mubama starts for England u21s tonight Akachukwu played last 15 for Ireland u21s

Were they expecting it? Feels like the 115 charges have been around for years and this announcement was quite sudden, but perhaps its been on the cards and just not on our radar. When Pep left there were quite a few people saying he's getting out before the verdict hits. Old school City fans wouldn't fear expulsion and some time in league one , in fact some of them would welcome it

So Burnley example, did we miss out on Europa league / champions league thanks to our results against them in 2015-2017 era?

Hasn't a precedent been set with Burnley (sued Everton) https://www.skysports.com/football/news/13552745/everton-appeal-order-to-pay-burnley-lb40m-in-compensation-over-psr-breaches-in-june-2022

Nobody knows , I dont think even the FA are sure what to do with lack of precedent for them to use

Programme fair this Saturday for any collectors out there, ive been a few times previously and picked up some Saints European aways , interesting cup ties etc , worth a visit https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/26574121.southampton-programme-fair-honours-true-saint-andrew-murray/?ref=cprfa

Most obvious fake account ffs

Dont assume anything

Azaz starts Manning on bench

A mate of mine got tickets this afternoon, 7 aways, only back few rows of upper tier left apparently so would expect it to sell out fairly soon

I know Saints are already well known / liked in Japan thanks for our many years association with Yoshida, nice to have another connection now, he's a great lad Matsuki

Their days are numbered and I think they know it

Great stuff, Is it on tv?

I thought the BBC were supposed to be above click bait as they're not funded by advertising revenue, either way the clip doesn't show if he's been asked a leading question by the journo, we also don't see any challenge later made by the journalist who surely could have quickly discredited his claim that he speaks for every manager in the league. Anyway the days of BBC spreading misinformation are numbered now Andy Burnham is on the case , he wont stand for their deceitfulness
